And just to be clear, it looks like Soylent Red was actually made from a vegetable base, soylent green, being meat based was apparently much more palatable.

I have been a Democrat for decades. That so many people are so outraged by Palin's use of death panel when it represents what insurance companies do now but in government form and so what people are naturally concerned about seems bizarre. That so many supposedly intelligent people call her a liar when she is clearly just using a colorful expression and a bit of logical projection makes me wonder just what politics does to the brain.

My problem with the Obama plan is that I prefer either single payer or the Wyden plan.

Obama himself essentially said that life and death would be looked at through a spreadsheet because you can't "measure the intangibles".

So while she's exaggerating her rhetoric, she's not exactly lying either, unless Obama did.

We do not yet fully know nor understand the minds ability to heal the body, so yes, there will be people sacrificed for the bottom line based upon Obama's own words.
