I am so sad for this and it makes me wish to bring this horse to the vet and have the treatment for this through pain killer medication. I cannot have this right now for having the 3 martinis and the drunkness for the moment. But I am very angry and wish this bride and groom to have much failure for the marriage of them for hurting this horse!

Also I think of this and believe this has happened because the bride and the groom were fat people. This is a sad thing to notice.

It's good etiquette to tell a groom and bride to "break a leg"? It's a wedding, not Shakespeare. And if the bride is Heather Mills, what then?

You have a neurological quirk or something that makes you phrase thing differently? Would you be open to discussing it? I find that far more interesting than the link about the horse. Your "accent" definitely could come across as a foreign, but if it's neurological, I am very interested... if you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful

There is a Foreign Accent Syndrome that affects people with catastrophic brain injuries (new window) but it is only in spoken speech. It doesn't make you write bad Rocky and Bullwinkle dialog.

Well, I figured trolling is the likeliest possibility, but a neurological disorder affecting speech and phrasing doesn't sound too far out there. As for the persona there's a pic with hand writing, that can be easily obtained by a troll, but could also be the real person. Ultimately, I've come to the conclusion that it being a real neurological... something is much more interesting than dismissing it as trolling.

So, I ask the simple question: what is the neurological explanation called? Allegedly, meow is a grad student, so it must not effect intelligence much, and she should be able to explain it, albeit in her "accent" of sorts.

Come with me, Farkers, on a journey to a place where people may be who they say they are

I'm familiar with the foreign accent syndrome, which is why I'm intrigued with Meow. I haven't deeply studied neurology as it relates to language and speech, but I know there are enough quirks with it that Meow's alleged troll is either a legitimate disorder or something perhaps based on a legitimate disorder.

Madonna probably just spent too much time in the UK and began to assimilate, and carried it over in interviews. I lived in the south for a significant portion of my childhood and have hardly a trace of an accent, yet I've met people who have never been there that speak like they certainly have. Accents are strange things.

There are a couple of disorders or quirks that could explain it actually (a lot are linked with high functioning autism). You didn't used to be so skeptical Nancy. You used to trust people for who they were and then you'd disbelieve them when you had to.

Lessee...it was 23-years old....broken leg....animal control had to help move it afterward....

I dunno....probably they SHOT IT? Or, more humanely, euthanized it? There's not much else you can do with a really old horse with a broken leg. It's not like it was Barbaro you're going to try to salvage for stud fees or something.

Madonna grew up in suburban Detroit which is about as accentless a place as you can find. When she was first hot back in the 80s she affected a New York accent after moving there and then she affected an English accent after moving there. However she never picked up any LA speak despite owning a number of mansions and living there for decades. Essentially she parlayed a miniscule amount of singing talent and an endless need to reinvent herself into a very long career. Of course she primarily appealed to demographics with virtually no taste in music or anything else, teenage girls and gay men. But I doubt you're going to pick up any catastrophic brain injury no matter how hard your skull bounces on a head board or a "disco stick."

Foaud is ambiguously arabic.. Kazakhstan is basically just the bastard offspring of the middle east and Russia, so I'd say we're about on the same page.

Let's place our accent in Afghanistan, for funsies. They have a history of interaction with Russians, and it'll give us a rich history of how Meow came to be a Farker! Look for events that link up between Meow's registration and developments in the region. Maybe give or take a couple days of travel.
