/good going Mexico. The only reason people visit your god-forsaken filthy disease-riddled corrupt country is for the beaches and now you won't let them use them.

Breakwaters are generally stupid and destructive. They should just blast it and send the bill to the hotel, plus a huge fine for illegal construction without a permit.

Walker: "Let's see some f*cker try to steal this sand now"

I just think it'd be humorous to see the article where this gun-toting guard shoots somebody for taking a shovelful of sand. I mean, we make jokes about people fighting over dirt all the time, but to see that play out literally would be... well, I don't know what it would be.

Slap a flag on a couple of bass fishing boats and I think you can call it a navy...

Yeah, now that they have solved the drug cartel problem, the rampant poverty and food/water shortages, their heathcare issues, bad economy and so forth they can concentrate on the thing that really matters. Sand.

Sand thieves using breakwaters? It is more likely than you think.

This is going on all over the place along the west coast of the US. Breakwaters that were installed 60 or 70 years ago have been building artificial sandbanks. However, now that the sand reserves that built those banks has been depleted, those artificial banks are disappearing.

Ocean Shores, WA is an example of this. Much of the peninsula didn't exist 100 years ago. Now they're in deep shiat because the currents are taking it all back. Never mind that there are now tens of millions of dollars of property on this overly glorified sand dune.

Its about enforcing the law? What an interesting choice of words... Mexico has all these problems with drug lords and corruption in government... and they really want to drive out tourists that is the only genuine income flowing into the country? Great plan.

Farking sand is expensive. I just bought $3K worth of white sand for a sand trap on my property. Looks nice, but $3K?
