You better hope that they do it before Gorgor gets here. Otherwise, we're just gonna get a Voltron made out of dongs and butts.

"I can buy $100,000 worth of stock with the click of a mouse. But I can't buy a $100,000 house without going through a ton of paperwork," said Adam Bradley, an Elk Grove information technology staffer. Early this year, he found an attractive listing online and went so far as to make an offer without actually seeing the house.

You can if you have the cash. Oh, you mean you want someone else to pay for it? Like the bank? Yeah, you can't do that. It requires contracts, inspections and audits.

Because he's a respresentaive of the "old" print-media, and as such is mostly read by old people. And almost nothing they do makes sense.

Who's Ric Romero? Is he a Farker or soemthing?

Ric Romero is the Ric Flair's real name. When it entered wrestling, he thought it sounded too weak, so he chose Flair.

Anywho, he used to taunt his opponents by making them look stupid. So once he made them look like fools, he'd usually say something like, "Boy, it's obvious to everyone but you how stupid you are! WHHOOOOOW!"

Hence how Ric Romero is always invoked on FARK when stating the obvious...

Ahh, found it... finally....

Great starter home that can be easley become 3 bedroom home with very littel work. Large private back yard that backs up to open spaces and lakes. Huge detatched garage 29ft x 23ft.

Not to belabor the obvious, but... maybe move somewhere where housing is cheaper? We had a friend who lived in San Jose, CA; kept complaining he couldn't afford anything, even with two salaries. A one-bedroom condo in a desireable area was over $500k, he told us.

Finally, he got a job in Indianapolis, doing the same job, but for about a 20% pay cut. However, in Indianapolis, he was able to buy a newish 3/2, 1500 sq. ft., and a nice neighborhood with sidewalks and 2-car garage and blah blah, for well under $200k.

And then he would run into the corner, twirl upside down, end up on the turnbuckle, be slammed into the mat, then stand and proclaim "it is AMAZING how that worked out! I, for one, would never have seen it coming!" Then he'd do a face-plant right in the middle of the ring.

In Dutch Pensylvania they do that. It's to find a good spot with an accessable well, and lots of providence from God. Superstitions left-over from their Barvarian heritage.

why? what if I'm looking at $1M dollar homes, I can only afford $1M, and someone else is million to pay $1.05M?

I'm not a millionaire or a billionaire by any means, but I'm definitely not poor and wouldn't my predicament apply to anyone trying to buy at the top of their bracket?

Sorry. Your personal wealth not withstanding I just wanted to use that overused meme. I wish I knew what you are feeling as I've never been in that situation but as someone trying to sell my house for the last 18 months I enjoy hearing your story. Best of luck finding the right house though.
