This is all very interesting. It seems that a lot of people on here don't feel he needs to prove his "Natural Born" status to be the president. But everyday many people have to prove their citizenship just to hold a job. At least one state will not even accept a US passport as proof and requires among other things a certified copy of a birth certificate. Mine actually shows the name of the hospital and doctor involved in the delivery. I will agree that the COLB is proof of citizenship, but it does not seem to satisfy the greater proof of being "Natural Born". If there is no problem then why is there such resistance? And please don't say "because he doesn't have to", that's childish. All these people are asking is that this simple question be answered. As to there needing to be a reason for that great state of Hawaii to produce the long form, what greater reason could there be than to prove eligibility to hold the greatest office in the land.
