Yeah so I'm outing myself as a teenage music geek, but I must add mine...maybe my perception is a bit clouded by liking the bands but anyway.

Travis - The Invisible Band (You just see the tree, until you realise the band are standing under it, that tree is bloody enormous)
The Music - The Music (it's like a rainbow bullseye thing - pretty cool)
Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Best of Blur (love the cartoons)
Goodshirt - Good (New Zealand band, most of you probably wouldn't have heard of them, but Good has absolutely the best cover art)
Electric Soft Parade - Holes in the Wall
And of course, the 'butcher' cover of Yesterday and Today (hehe) and also, that Led Zeppelin one with the windows, I've forgotten what it's called.

Blind Guardian's "Nightfall in Middle Earth". JRR Tolkein fans will recognize the scene with Luthien dancing before the throne of Morgoth the Dark Lord, while one of the wolves in the background is her lover Beren in disguise.

Then there's Iced Earth:

You can't go wrong with Spawn!

Flaming Lips: Telepathic Surgery

If you look really close at the hubcap, you can see the corpse of Col. Sanders being fired, glazed and naked, from a cannon...through the giant sized hole of a donut sign.

Holy long thread Batman!!!It's probably been mentioned already so I won't bother enabling voting, but 'Axis Bold as Love' Jimi Hendrix Experience is my favorite. And as a side bar. Anyone watch Antiques Roadshow. In one episode the dude who appraises pop culture stuff had a hawaiian style shirt of the cover, I'd kill for it.

From the creators of The King of The Hill theme song.

Almost any cover from a classic progressive rock band kicks buttock. Some great examples:

Genesis: Nursery Cryme (one of the best covers ever), Foxtrot, Trespass.
Yes: Fragile, Relayer, Tales from Topographic Oceans, The Ladder.
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, The Division Bell.
ELP: Tarkus, Brain Salad Surgery.
Rush: Hemispheres, Permanent Waves.

You know an album cover rocks when you can buy framed lithographs of them, like you can with some of the Genesis and Yes covers that I mentioned.

Phish - Rift is great because it has all of the songs interpreted in the cover image.

Pop Interstate's album is great: A Lesser of Two Knievels

Obviously Props to the Depeche Mode covers!

I kinda liked the "Some Great Reward" cover as well from them. A couple in wedding attire in the middle of a huge factory at night embracing. Something strange and cool about that.

But I can't believe nobody ever put up or mentioned the "I Want You" album by Marvin Gaye, the album that came up afterwards, "Here, My Dear", complete with a burning crotch and a monopoly board representing the judgement/settlement he had to do with his ex wife. Oh well.

Would post them, but my html skills suck.

Bye.

Favorite Album: (but I doubt any farkers here have ever heard it)

Man, it's so hard to choose... Hendrix, Beatles, James Gang, Who, CCR, Cream, Chuck Berry, etc.

Favorite cover? Tough choice, but here's a few of my faves:
