I know what DLR said about why it was in the rider but he's lying.

The brown M&M rule is right in the hospitality section. Not the rigging specs. (my friend has an origional, bound 1984 edition.)

That makes sense, the groups in charge of each would presumably be very separate. Was there anything of a similar nature hidden in the rigging specs?

She should adopt the dead and wounded, then fark them. That would be edgy.

The dead worker was a 53-year-old Frenchman.

Whew! When they said "1 dead" I thought it might have been an American.

Yeah, all the chainmotors had to be hung upsidedown.

What you're saying is true, of course, but doesn't rule out Van Halen actually believing the reasons that Roth gave for making the request. Rock stars are not known for being the sharpest tools in the shed, after all. Perhaps they figured that once the venue crew finished hanging lights, they'd be filling the M&M bowls...

Anything's possible but the brown M&M's are up there with the Mud Shark in Rock and Roll history.

I would think they would like to get the details right.

Too bad there's no way Madonna helps construct her own sets...she could've saved them all with one of her scary all-sinew arms.

Charlotte: hope you enjoy the banhammer, pope

Indeed, the image of a dead frog may be to much for your average farker. I should have realized that within these hallowed halls of hilarity, one must keep a modicum of decorum within this continuum. Here at fark where the images often range from implied butt rape to implied pedophilia my image of an expired amphibian was beyond the pale. I offer this as an act of atonement and beg you all for your forgiveness Link (new window)
