If you wait until things are going badly it'll be a much trickier procedure. Might as well do it when you're getting along well.

It found that a husband who is nine or more years older than his wife is twice as likely to get divorced, as are husbands who get married before they turn 25.

That's one way to phrase it. If you want to make sure to lay the blame on the man. Because he's always at fault -- that's why he has to give half his money away.

Study finds if you fight a lot, you might get arrested for domestic violence; study finds if you cheat on your spouse, you might find yourself in divorce court losing half your assets and only seeing your kids on weekends.

Another study finds that if you write the grant proposal correctly, you can get money to prove that water is wet, sky is blue, sun rises in the East.

92% of people who read that article said 'Meh'.

What about the guys that get married before they are 25 AND are 9 or years older than their wife?

Uh oh... according to subby's headline my marriage is safe, but according to the actual article, I have TWO risk factors that make my marriage twice as likely to end in divorce!!! Whoever shall I believe?

Studies also find that writing a headline that has little, to nothing, to do with the actual article itself, are 10 times more likely to be greenlit.

They apparently get divorced often. And they probably had a helluva lot of fun doing it. Marrying 16 year olds sounds like a life plan.

So since my boyfriend is 26 and we're about 2 years apart in age, we should never get divorced?

I'm 7 years older than my ex-wife. I knew I shouldn't have married someone so young. I like the half-your-age + 7 years rule. They're just right then - young enough to be impressed by my BS and old enough to know better.

I just broke up with my hot, loving girlfriend of 6 years so I'm really getting a kick out of these replies. Downhill for the past year.

/just couldn't ignore that little voice in the back of my head that said things will change after marriage
