A coworker of mine who was in the Navy told me some fu king shiat about Tijuana sex practices, particularly the donkey show.

Years ago, in a time of youthful inexperience I found myself in a bar under a Tijuana brothel. I was amazed at how young, fresh and pretty the girls were and how, well, normal they seemed. The bar was clean and well lit, the drinks were reasonably priced and not watered down. Aside from a scary looking guy at the door, who was really friendly to us and seemed to only glare at Mexicans, there were no thug looking guys in the place. Now, I can't speak from actual experience mind you, but I was ... uh ... told ... that for $40.00 (in 1987) you could pretty much have whatever you want with a 18 or 19 year old woman. I'm sure prices have gone up ... but it was nothing at all like I expected.

Go to the Avenida Revoluccion which is a 5 minute walk west after the pedestrian entrance to TJ. It's a middle class thoroughfare and you'll see Mormon missionaries on bicycles. Peruse the restaurants, stores and the like to see that it's all relatively normal and although not on a par with what you'd see in LaJolla it easily matches National City or Long Beach. Now go to any of the night clubs and check out the pictures of the lovelies that are out in front in the display cases. They all look exactly like Gorgor's girl friend. The zebra painted donkeys are less bizarre looking than they are. If they're the ones they take pictures of then what the hell do the second stringers look like?
