Wumpus, people do that anyway. Hell, I've heard of this couple whose daughter was killed in a car wreck and they tried to have another daughter, but they kept getting boys (they had two boys already) so every time they would have a new boy they'd put it up for adoption.

This is another reason why I think people should be limited in how many kids they have. Kids are nothing but pets to most people anyway.
