For some reason, I can't see this thing being worth $150. The controller just looks too radio shack-like to me.
Note the time of this post versus when the article gets posted.

I have the Tyco "Typhoon" hovercraft. And sure, it only works on flat surfaces, but I still say it's the mostest funnest RC toy ever!

The mostest funnest R/C vehicle I've built was a tank. You could use a three channel controller and turn the turret, or go for a different controller package and use a second 2-channel controller to control the turret rotation and up/down manipulation. That was a while ago, though.
