I've got a co-worker like that. If it's online or printed in a tabloid then IT HAS TO BE TRUE since they aren't allowed to print falsehoods. Any day now I have expect to hear she's fallen victim to a 419 scam. I can't stop her from replying to obvious spam that lands in her inbox, so of course she gets tons per day since she clicks on them.

I was on a mailing list that the list moderator would regularly spam with forwarded gang-initiation warnings or health scares. I'd reply to the list with the snopes article refuting his email and told him to check snopes before forwarding. His response was, "I don't trust information from strangers on the internet".

Fortunately he's no longer the list mod.

That's even funnier considering when France pulled out of NATO - they insisted on all American servicemen to leave France. Johnsons reply "Does your order include the bodies of American soldiers in France's cemeteries?"

I'm sure that for verisimilitude they sometimes mention that their chosen plaintiffs in Establishment Clause cases are offended by whatever. But can you please cite an instance where they said that was the justification for the order they were seeking?
