Isn't there a made-for-TV Baywatch movie next week?

That'll be a quality show.

2003-02-21 09:55:39 AM
seriously, "a gust of wind"? I have been riding motorcycles for nearly 15 years and have been through windy conditions and 18 wheelers passing you causing gusts of wind, but never throwing me off the road. The article does mention a "drinking problem". I'm just saying....

At first glance I thouhgt that maybe a gust of wind hit his hair just right, causing his motorcycle to careen off the road and into a lightpole. Now that I read that he was wearing a helmet, he must have been stoopid drunk.

I wish the bring Norm back to Weekend Update just to do this story.

Yes, english as a second language. Jeez.

Productiveslacker: I don't know, I can see wind being a problem. And they don't say how much experence he had riding. I'm just saying it could happen.

Has anybody gotten a quote from Gary Busey?

2003-02-21 10:05:35 AM
Celebrities + Harleys = comedy gold.

I'm a biker. I hate celebrity bikers. Hate them, hate them, hate them. Except for Jay Leno. Other than Jay, they're a bunch of leather-jacket-wearing/let's-meet-at-restaurant posers.

Gripping news. Next we're going to hear that Frank Stallone fell out of a tree.

Better Headline:
Washed Up Actor Wipes Out Bike.

they're a bunch of leather-jacket-wearing/let's-meet-at-restaurant posers.

Is that as opposed to the leather-jacket-wearing/let's-meet-at-the-bar posers that constitute non-celebrity bikers?

Because of the accident, Cowan added, Hasselhoff will not be able to hold his gut in and may have to cancel trips and interviews for his upcoming "Baywatch" reunion movie, "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding."

Germany will send inspectors to investigate this obvious criminal act against one of the fatherland's natinal treasures, with UN approval or not. France has pledged monetary assistance, but no troops.

2003-02-21 10:14:25 AM
AbbyNormal- Seriously though, it takes a sideways gust of 40+ to get me to move off of my line at 70MPH. That's 2 up on my little beemer. Now if there's a streetlight around, he's not even close to that speed. Any rider with a bit of experience can handle the wind thing just fine. Dudeman was either tanked or stupid- or both.

2003-02-21 10:18:39 AM
NoGods- how about:

Washed up Actor Wipes Out Lightpost

Poor, poor lightpost.

Don't worry. I'm all right. I'm now working on my next feature film. It should be coming out sometime early 2004. All my fans can rejoice. I am combining my role as the crime fighting god Michael Knight with my role as stud lifegaurd Mitch. Tenative title is Bay Ridder, but we may switch it to Knight Watch.

NoGods Washed up my ass. I am a GOD in Germany.

As he lay in the roadway screaming in pain, a large crowd of Germans arrived and enjoyed the imprompto concert.

Bigdork666

That video is the finest thing ever.

And by "thing," I mean it beats out joy, and happiness, and ecstacy, and music, and history.

Finest. Thing. Ever.

I'm less surprised about this dicksmack being in a bike accident than I am that some dumb chick married his happy ass... Then again, no I'm not.

it took a whopping 1 minute and 30 seconds for someone to point out the policeman's name.

2003-02-21 10:25:10 AM
I had a gust of wind pick my bike up and move it 10 feet to the left one night in a thunderstorm, I was pretty drunk at the time so it didn't bother me to much.

It can happen.

BigDork666,
Thank you... thank you for that fantastic "music video." Between that and the Cowbells video - I have had a fantastic Friday morning!

Brilliant - Goat.

Is that as opposed to the leather-jacket-wearing/let's-meet-at-the-bar posers that constitute non-celebrity bikers?

2003-02-21 10:28:12 AM

It does seem like an unlikely accident, I think we aren't getting the entire story.

The have been times where I have ridding in wind that made me a little nervious, but that was on an interstate in flordia. It's very flat, and the wind can be brutal.

I also have to wonder how fast they were going.
