"Brigadier, I think our past is catching up with us... Or maybe it's our future."

It would be interesting to see the new Doctor appear for the first time as a future Doctor, rather than the new current Doctor... Not sure they could pull off using a mix of the first three actors to play the Doctor appear using video from their old episodes, mixed with the current living Doctors at their current ages.

Would explain the Paul McGann and Tom Baker returning rumors I've heard. As long as it's not another Dimensions in Time...

Ballsy. They've done these gimmicks before, with "The 3 Doctors" and "The 5 Doctors" (or really, "The 4 Doctors and Stock Footage from the Unaired 'Shada'").

But with 11 Doctors, I think the screen would get too crowded. You can only focus attention on so many characters.

William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton, Time Lords whose rein extended between 1966 to 1974 but have since passed away, will be included by use of images from their previous shows.

Okay, my favorite kitchen sink show was The Five Doctors. Loved it for the Sarah Jane "falling down a cliff that's not really a cliff, it's a bump on a hill NO DON'T PAN BACK YOU'RE RUINING THE STARK TERROR." scene

I may have to watch this little 15-minute thing.

/wonder if they're ever going to do another proper Multi-Doctor show again...?

Is the plural form of Tardis seriously "Tardies"?

Yes, he is.

If the next Dr. Who had been Tom Watt then we could have the headline "Who Watt - Why?"

Actually, that's an interesting question for nerd science: would a Gallifrean be immune to a zombie virus? If it re-animated the corpse, probably, as regeneration would prevent that. But if it turned a living being into a zombie, that would be a nasty thing.

/The virus would probably be weaponized by the Daleks.

This is our first chance to see whether or not having Tom Baker and David Tennant in the same room together will cause the universe to implode because it cannot handle that much awesomeness in one point

/Paul McGann and Colin Baker aren't mentioned. Probably they're not included because everyone hates the Sixth and Eighth doctor
//It's going to be nice to see Christopher Eccelston one more time as the Ninth Doctor.

Tom Waits couldn't play a Timelord on TV. He is a Timelord, living undercover in the wake of the Time War. I mean, it's obvious, to me.

Hey, I LIKED Eight! No, really, I did.

I want to see him included just to watch the fandom explode. Was bad enough when he showed up in the sketch 10 did that one episode.

Ever since I watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," it's gotten extra-weird to see the Doctor getting younger and younger with each successive regeneration.

/for the record, I think David Tennant with Catherine Tate may be the best partnership in the history of the show

It wouldn't necessarily be so bad if Matt Smith didn't look so damn weird. I mean, he looks like he's twelve at best.

And I agree with you about David Tennant with Catherine Tate.

Aw man, I'm so sorry. How are you coping with your loss of 3 hours of your life? I grieved for awhile but I think I may have begun to move on.

I've some of Dr. Who, 1 season of the last Doctor where Rose first showed up and thru Martha. But from what I hear the episodes are the ones that either just didn't work or I am missing a codec for.

So are they going to find another actor on death's door to reprise the role of the First Doctor?

2009-06-23 12:56:06 PM
Now, there's apparently a stipulation that the Ninth Doctor can only appear in books/tv/radio with Rose. Which means that there's a likelyhood that Billie farking Piper is going to return for this one episode.

/It's why they were unable to write any books about how the Eighth Doctor became the Ninth Doctor or any of the Ninth Doctor's pre-Rose adventures.

It was a boxed set of Love For Lydia, based on H.E. Bates' book. The cast featured Jeremy Irons, Peter Davison, Michael Aldridge and Christopher Blake. It showed on Masterpiece Theatre in the US long ago and far away.

I love some inter-incarnation mayhem! The 3 doctors was a friggin' hillarious episode. I'd love to see 6 and 4 butt heads. :)

Dream Plot: The David Tennant doctor kills the Matt Smith doctor before he can even be regenerated into, and then continues being Doctor Who for the next 50 years. And then, using the magic of time travel, we get another 7 years of Tom Baker mopping the floor with the competition.

WHAT? I demand a citation. I then demand that that citation be destroyed, and the originals destroyed, and Billie Piper shot dead in public.

Bite your tongue! The Sixth Doctor is awesome and shall be on this, whether you like it or not! Well, that, and probably because Colin doesn't do that much anymore besides Big Finish audios and an occasional book/article. ;) Plus, I think they would have to have him on there for color!

And Eccleston would be a blast to see in the role again. I will love to see this if it happens. It could be something very neat, but they damn well better release it on DVD.

Actually, I've revised the dream plot: the Daleks bust in on the 11 doctors, exterminate them all, hijack the Tardis and the show become Daleks conquering the universe throughout all time and space. THE WAY GOD INTENDED!

I thought McGann's take on the Doctor was quite enjoyable. Too bad his primary vehicle for the role was a shiatty FOX TV movie.

This could be all kinds of awesome if done right. Heck, it would still be a hoot even if they screw up.
