Another example of people just not getting it. When "Borat" came out, people from so called east bloc countries were all upset that it poked fun at them. They didn't realize he was showing the ignorance of the people he dealt with, not making fun of Kazakhstan.

Sacha needs to learn he's much funnier without resorting to the 'sledge hammer' style of comedy.

Otherwise, his characters get tiresome after about fifteen minutes.

I'm gay, and I thought the trailer was hilarious. Yeah, sure there will be idiots who will think that the film really depicts gay people, but those are the same people who laughed at Dave Chappelle because they thought he was making black people look stupid.

The funniest parts of Borat were when he wasn't getting assholes to say asshole things. I don't need biting satire to tell me that a southern redneck is a racist or a bunch of frat guys are douchebags. The scenes in Kazakhstan were pretty funny though.

Ambush comedy gets real old real quick. Even at the height of the Daily Show when their reporting cadre consisted of Colbert, Carrell, Rocca, and Walls, the ambush interviews were some of the least funny pieces ever. It's like the punchline is stretched out over five minutes, and with any other form of humor is plainly obvious it's not funny.

He is a smart comic but thats not the fundemental premise of his jokes (and he knows it)
