Does she really know the demographic that she's talking about....

It's also one-stop shopping for the rather large crowd of juvenile smart alecs who prefer sex jokes to real dialogue about significant events of the day.

Yes, she knows who we are.

What's going on in Iran?

YAY TATSUMA!! Long overdue, if you ask me. You deserve a LOT of recognition for what you've been doing this week!

/"Brouhaha", though? C'mon...

HEY! I'm 34 thank you very much!

...and RoxtarRyan gets called juvenile.

I love Fark.

I'll be 30 in a matter of days.
I still giggle at toilet humor.

Traditionally, it'd be up to Tatsuma.

2009-06-19 05:02:52 PM
Every time the media gets alerted about Fark

"Look at this cool thing one of them did
...oh, but the rest of them are twatwaffles."

Oh well, it's true :P

you've earned it man!

Well deserved, Tatsuma.

Then email the powers that be that you wouldn't mind this being greenlit.

Props to you ;)

I think it's funny that they link to his profile, instead of that particular Iran thread.

Actually no, I got a short ban for doing it once and I said something nice of the person too. Although I suppose I just committed the badness by talking about a ban. Oh well, whatever.

2009-06-19 05:04:47 PM
Yes, mad props for you, Tatsuma.

2009-06-19 05:06:20 PM
Alright Tats - this thread is kind of like a u-call-it-shot, but instead of alcohol, its fellatio. So, how do you like it?

2009-06-19 05:06:21 PM
I noticed Tatsuma lost the picture of an Israeli soldier pointing a gun at a Palestinian woman and child from his profile.

Don't want the bad publicity now that you're on the side of Mooslim democracy?

It's always nice when a Farker receives recognition for their efforts, and your recognition is quite deserved Tatsuma.

This is pretty cool, but at the same time I do not think we should lose focus. What is important is what is happening there, not that I was mentioned, so while this is flattering, I am not going to ask for a greenlit.

Better than the picture of the puppy and kitten having 'invisible pirate/ninja' contest. I mean, really, it was horrible.

...like the smell you leave behind when you walk out of the bathroom? Y'know, the one that wafts after you as you crop-dust your way through subsequent rooms?

Relax, if it goes green, it goes to Publicity, and nobody will ever see it.

I have stayed out of those threads for a number of reasons, but I have been keeping up with Tatsuma's updates. Thanks for all that you have done.

When a place like this keeps you more up to date than CNN, is that more amazing for Fark or more pathetic for CNN?

Also, Tatsuma deserves many a kudos indeed.

also:
On Monday we'll do a live chat with Drew Curtis to get his insight. He's learned a lot about how to help the crowd and how to get out of the way. In an e-mail exchange he said this: "Theme: The next advance in social media is editors." We will find out what he means by that at 1 p.m. EDT Monday. Join us.

Farkers should join in on this Monday@1

Sorry for threadjack but do you know you were on Swiss tv? I saw a report on you and your grandma while sitting with my SO and parents. I excitedly pointed at the screen and exclaimed, "I know him from the intarweb!!" They stared at me with worry.

That was actually a decent read. I can't begin to count how many people I pointed towards Fark in the past week. Everyone of them had some variation of the following: "Wow, I thought you guys were just a bunch of vicious cockbags. But you get serious when it matters."

Tats, as expected, got rave reviews amongst my little circle for his now famous primer and other amazingly explanatory posts. I doubt that you need any more more accolades, but people in "real life" are using your name, brother. And when you break down the reasons why most people are 'internet famous,' I'd say you're the king.

Thanks again, all of you who proved that the hours I spend here instead of talking to a Real Live Girl aren't all in vain.

No, I think everyone missed the 20 TFD threads about it and glaringly obvious size of the logo on the main page.

I thought I sounded arrogant after the interview. I'm curious to see the video now. Sh*t that's cool!
