This is a silly warning.

Very few farmed fish species are specific carnivores. Some of those have been bred to enable digestion of vegetable protein. The tonnages of these species are modest, except perhaps for salmon where capelin in the preferred source of meat in the diet.

It's hard to see how on an LCF any kind of rendered beef will compete well with soybeans and etc.

The incidence of Mad Cow in North America is negligible to non-existent.

Okay, Creutzfeldt-Jakob scares the bejesus out of me because it's a prion disease that a) can't be treated and b) may have already infected a large portion of the population who are carrying it in a dormant state.
