And we wonder why our taxes are so high. I know I feel so much better knowing that my hard-earned tax dollars are being spent to spay and neuter a feral cat infestation. .22 bullets cost 2 cents each.

"Maddie's Fund, a $200 million animal welfare foundation in Alameda, pays for the surgery. Food and water dispensers are donated."
Your tax dollars aren't doing shiat. Try reading the article.

Maybe the inmates lured the cats into the prison because they were tired of the new meat wearing "Soap on a Rope" all the time and they needed something new to fark.

I did read it. Just because some organization donated the money, don't assume our tax dollars aren't involved too. How much you want to bet that that organization has recieved govt grants? Or how about the salaries of the guards who have to be paid for the time they're rounding up kitties or filling their feed bins instead of doing their real jobs. All on the taxpayer dime.

Considering the way the government has been handling money recently, paying to spay and neuter cats does not seem that terrible.

Remember-spay and neuter,it's the way to go!

Why are we not feeding the prisoners with these cats?

they don't deserve pets..there innocent victims didn't get to pick what kitty he or she wanted to pet before they were murdered or whatever..

i feel sorry fot that bloke who is in there for life.
imagine when his beloved cat finally dies of old age.
how would he feel? all alone again and by himself.
i dont think they should be allowed to have pets because of this reason.
he may have killed somebody and thats not forgiveable but he is still a human being and that cannot be changed.

of have i got my tags fuced up
