"Death

On June 4, 2009, Carradine was found dead in his room at the Park Nai Lert Hotel in Junfan Mulay, Bangkok, Thailand. Many believe that members of 4chan.org are involved."

We followed 2 sets of grasshopper tracks to the hotel, but only one outside the room.

2009-06-04 10:55:57 AM
He stopped flapping.

Saw him on TMZ (shut up) about a month ago. Looked in great shape, pleasant as could be.

Just goes to show we never know what troubles some one is keeping inside.

RIP, Mr Caradine and condolences to his family.

The Web site of the newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room and is believed to have committed suicide.

Damn, I was hoping he went out as I imagine he lived, on a Thai hooker.

BBC article: Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning.

hmmm....

Well that sucks. I've enjoyed his work a lot. Cannonball! was great. As were the Kill Bill movies. Wild West Tech on the History channel was thoroughly enjoyable too. Rest in peace, Mr. Carradine.

mattb0611: What's interesting is that this article says he committed suicide. A BBC article said he was found with a "rope around his neck and genitals". It was quickly changed, however, to read "rope around his neck and body".

Maybe his death was accidental?

This says he died of natural causes, and that early reports of hanging were incorrect.

The original BBC article read, "with a rope around his neck and genitals". They've since changed it.

That's not how white people normally commit suicide here in Thailand. Normally it's with a noose around their neck and two bullet shots to the head.

My favourite part is when he runs over the doctors and nurses, instead of the patients they wheeled out onto the road for him to run over.

Ok. Now I'm confused. Does the headline mean he was in Thailand or is that the cause of death?

2009-06-04 11:02:13 AM
I'm reminded of the Klingon practice of howling over the body of a fallen comrade as a warning to those in the afterlife that a great warrior is on his way.

However he died, I'm sure it was on his terms.

Goodbye, David.
