"He tried to kill me. That's a quote. Put it in the papers."

It's always about you, Regis - you pathetic attention whore!

"He tried to kill me!" Philbin barked to a phalanx of reporters following a second-inning turn on the Marlins' telecast. "That's a quote! Put it in the papers!"

Hero tag for Hanley Ramirez?

Regis was long gone by the time this one ended after four hours and 31 minutes. In fact, it was believed he bolted the stadium during the third inning.

"If he's a real diehard Marlin fan, he'd hang with us for 14 innings," said Marlins reliever Burke Badenhop, who improved to 2-1 after tossing three shutout innings at the end.

Considering I can re-enact "attending a Marlins home game" by sitting fully clothed in a sauna for three hours, I don't blame him for bailing.

Hanley is no Albert Belle. Albert could drill old guys, even ones in the stands.

Nobody reads papers anymore, Regis.

Bet you rode to the ballpark in a horse and buggy, too.
