This gets my nomination for the BEST VIDEO I've seen on the interwebs in a LONG time.

I was grinning like a fool through the whole thing, and actually applauded them at the end.

They rock so hard!

She's OK!

Awesome.

Awwwww! I've only been married two and a half years - I hope that (with a little luck and a lot of hard work, I'm sure!) we're able to stay that happy. Got a little something in my eye...

Dang. It was a great video, but somehow depresses me in that it's AMAZING to see a couple in their 90s doing that, instead of just lolling around in a hospital bed pooping themselves like we've come to expect.

+1 subby and old couple.

I hope somebody, somewhere figures out how to convey to them that they've left behind this little slice of immortality and happiness to stand against the tides of snark and cynicism...

Okay. I don't want to turn anything so inspiring into anything remotely political. That being said, more and more I realize the measure of who you are isn't who you got drunk with when you were twenty, how big your house was when you were 35 or what cool parties you are invited to, or how many awesome vacations you've taken by 40.

We're (myself included) so farking ageist in this world we think anyone over 50 has nothing to teach all of us information overloaded know-it-all's who have had access to the entire world since we were twelve.

The people who built ham radio's in their basements we make fun of for not knowing how to program their phone. They actually went to places like Bastogne and Okinawa and we think we're more wordly because our movie collection has subtitles and our roommate was from the Ukraine. We talk about organic food and eating vegan and they actually grew and slaughtered their own food. Who the fark are we?

Yep. They have a lot of lessons for us. If I was smarter when I was a little 'tard I'd have payed more attention before I lost almost every grandparent before the age of 16. We have a lot to learn.

Lesson #1 Humility

You took a lot from that video about old people playing ragtime music.

And someday maybe once we get over the need to only feature young, pretty, and dumb "talent" we can go back to real entertainment that isn't simply a bland, mass-produced garbage money grab.

Being old or "ugly" and displaying talent is so rarely seen anymore it is an anomaly. These two folks are probably more intelligent, interesting, and talented than 90% of what is out today.

/Great find! Sad something like this has to be dug up from obscurity to be seen.

awesome! you may not believe this, but I'm 57 and I still look out on the world with 18 year old eyes. A friend of mine is 85 and says the same thing. The only difference is the legs aren't capable of moving as fast as they used to. My guess is that couple would say almost the same thing. You will discover that yourself in about 70 years.
