Got it covered.

At least he isn't a fumblelina in the outfield like Hoffpauer. No one was hitting well this week, so singling him out as the 'new guy' seems a little unfair. Why aren't we trashing some of the other players that are sucking right now, such as that POS Gregg? I don't think I've seen him step to the mound once, even when we're up 5 or 6 runs, where I don't fear that he's going to blow it.

I'm tired of the reporters in this town being all butthurt because Milton won't talk to them.

STFU and GBTW. He doesn't owe you idiots anything.

Let him play ball.

So far, Gregg is this year's Bob Howry...which scares the shiat out of me.

Wikipedia to the rescue!

In 2003, Milton Bradley allowed fans a chance to vote on a new piece to be added to the original game. The people were given three choices, and could make their selection via the company's official website or by phone (866-SAM-VOTE) for a chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree [1]. Voting ended on the 31st of December, and the winning piece (beating out tennis elbow and growling stomach) made its debut in October 2004:

* Brain Freeze: an ice-cream cone located in the brain. Refers to the actual brain freeze, an ailment which occurs in the head usually after eating very cold foods too fast.

I like Milton, and I agree with what he is saying. He did great in Texas because the media is busy fellating the Cowboys instead of the Rangers. Even in LA, where he had some trouble, the media hardly cares(and neither do the fans, which is why it's a great place for Manny).

Milton is one of those players that shouldn't play in media city. No NY, Boston, LA, Chicago. Stick to a (possible) baseball city that appreciates your game instead of your attitude, like Arlington, St Louis, Milwakuee, KC, Oakland, etc. Hell, Bradley did fine in San Diego until an umpire took him out(literally, with the busted ACL).

My schadenfreude goes off the charts when Milton manages to get thrown out of the game for arguing balls and strikes, which seems to happen 5-10 times a year. You'd think that he'd have figured out how to act like a professional after 10 years in the bigs.

In his defense, he was pinch-hitting and could not come back in the game anyway AND it was a horrible call in a huge point of the game. He has a great eye at the plate so when he got screwed by an umpire on a bad call, you expect him to not be unhappy? That's the fire the Cubs haven't had the past 2 years.

/now just channel it better

I agree with Shaggy_C that Milton the nutcase isn't really gonna be a problem, Gregg is an adventure though, there is a reason he lost the closer job in Florida last year.
I thought the Cubs would have signed Abreu and the Halos would have signed Cuckoo Bradley.

If you play sports for a living, act for a living, or do anything else where you make obscene moneys in the public eye, then guess what; you are open to criticism

That was a lot earlier than I thought this asshat would turn.

Its the same song and dance everywhere this guy has gone. He can't take the pressure of playing in a big market.

/Still wish we would have signed Dunn instead.

Signed Dunn to do what? There's no DH in the NL there big guy and we already have Dunn-Lite out there making a mess of it as it is.

I need the season to continue a bit longer. It seems a few days ago my Brewers just got the memo that the season had started at all.

Yeah yeah. You mean the ones that are 2-1 against you in this 2 week old season, right?

/yes big series this weekend.

Kornchex: Considering that as of right now the cards are the only team looking like they will be in contention with the cubs for the nl cantral title, it is a huge series. They don't have many games against each other after the AS break. You do know that this is one of the biggest rivalries in baseball, right?

The Crew is certainly coming around. The pitching has been spectacular. Now the 3-5 guys need to hit.

Braun is hitting the piss out of the ball after his 8-or-so game slump. He said give him 100 at bats before getting nervous and it didn't even take that long for him to be back hitting around .330. But you are right that JJ Hardy and Prince Fielder gotta pick it up. .190 and and .200 won't cut it, although Prince is 2nd on the team in RBI now behind Braun. Having said all that, there is no way these 2 continue to shiat all over the field. They are just too good for that. I'm so worried about run production from the middle of the order. I'm terrified of the bullpen.

And Jeff Suppan. Even on days when he doesn't start. I'm afraid he's going to infect Yovani Gallardo with whatever it is that causes him to piss all over himself in big situations.

Braun has been catching fire and even before that he and Prince were walking. Which is good but not great for the studs of the team.

Jeff Suppan sucks ass and needs to be demoted.

Of course I know that. I'm a Cubs fan. You're a Cardinals fan. We both know that. I'm not going to jump off of the Coronado Bridge because the Cubs are playing like shiat and hurting in several positions.
