I used to love it when ABC's Wide World of Sports showed the cliff drivers.

2009-04-23 03:42:33 PM
Entomologists bug me.

This is what he looked like after he hit the Mortar And Pestle below.

Even I can work in 'bug' and 'dip' into your existing headline, Subby.

I lol'd.

2009-04-23 04:27:45 PM
Guacamole? That's Mexican Spanish, from Nahuatl āhuacamōlli, from āhuacatl avocado + mōlli sauce. Date: 1920...

Did he roll onto his back with his arms and legs crossed?

I guess that old saying about avocado groves is true.

So wrong and yet, so right. Now I'll carry that cartoon image with me until I get home and look it up in The Complete Far Side. There goes my exciting Thursday night.

+1, subby. I giggled muchly.

2009-04-23 05:17:51 PM
That was more of an ATV accident than an avocado accident.

2009-04-23 05:18:31 PM
6.023 X 10^23 avocados = one guaca mole

2009-04-23 05:19:26 PM
airsupport: 6.023 X 10^23 avocados = one guaca mole

Also knowns as avocadro's number.

If there is a 120 foot cliff nearby, you might want to be aware of that whilst riding around on an ATV.

adamacious: inappropriate use of the dumbass tag

It must refer to the submitter. Any accident is a source of mirth for retarded people. Surprised that no one has invoked Darwin yet.

*crickets*

2009-04-23 05:39:44 PM
This headline would be funnier if a priest had died instead.

2009-04-23 05:45:23 PM
Ironically, this happened in a little town called Fallbrook.

2009-04-23 05:46:01 PM
Or is that coincidentally? I can never tell.

2009-04-23 05:47:46 PM
Fryer said the man was trying to turn the ATV while placing the traps when it rolled and he was ejected. He fell about 120 feet to his death.

Never try to drive an ATV while climbing an avocado tree to place bug traps.

the-meter-man: Ironically, this happened in a little town called Fallbrook.

I can tell you from experience that Fallbrook sucks.

I grew up in El Cajon and every time I drove by Fallbrook on the 15 I wanted to run through those hills of avocados. Good thing I didn't...

2009-04-23 05:55:42 PM
He fell 120 feet to his death, eh?

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
*breathes*
...hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

2009-04-23 06:01:44 PM
Mmmmm.

I like my guacamole simple.
Just avo, cilantro, a little salt, and plenty of lemon juice.
Delicious!!

Agreed. 'Dumbass' seems a little harsh.

So the story leaves out the man's name, pending family notification. Because so many entomologists were setting bug traps in San Diego yesterday.

As a youth, I hunted squirrels in those orchards for many years.

/squirrels fattened up with avocados
//very tastey
///need to head there soon before ammo disappears in Kommiefornia

Poor Gorgor. It's like they've cut off your arms and legs, but you're still gamely soldiering on. Such determination is admirable.

It's a pity my computer can't resolve tinyurls. I can only see your stuff when I'm at work

/keep up the fight, funnyman
