there aren't any stephen wright quotes on there as far as i can tell. you think wright invented the aphorism? jeez.

a couple of the quotes i recognize as canonical pessimistic sayings. but most appear to be original to despair.

If you look at the bottom of each page, each one says it would make a good gift for (lists other things and then ends with) disaffected college students. I wonder if they get much University business...
