mjoven1975: Since when do White Sox fans willingly want to wear T-shirts?

The Ligues are proof positive that we should discriminate against cub fans at the gate.

Those guys were from Alsip. Not really big Cub fan territory, last time I checked.

Gotta love this one "... especially when some fans may have been drunk." Alcohol involved at a White Sox game. Who'da thunk it?

Why in the hell would a Cubs fan ever go to that shaithole, other than to help you sell it out when they grace your presence once a year?

Before running on the field, they spent the afternoon watching the Cubs game at Wrigley -- that is what Cub fans do, last time I checked.

When you play in Wrigley there are very few places you can call a shiathole, the HHH Metrodome is fine for example.

I think banners like this look nice.

This should be thrown out as soon as it gets in front of a judge. When did we becomes a country of cry babies?

Yeah, the people fighting over a free t-shirt were out of line. But how is that the White Sox fault? This guy really needs to get over himself.

/Anyone who claims US Cellular Field to be "shaithole" automatically deserves to have all of his/her baseball-related opinions negated from here on out on an account of sheer bias and/or blatant ignorance.

//Especially if he (not so much "she" for obvious reasons) pisses in a trough of ice at his team's home games. Quit while you're ahead; you don't know enough about what you're talking about to continue this conversation.

///Will be at the game this afternoon. Happy Easter, everyone!

Tell Ozzie I love him, and make sure he's not wearing that goddam guayabera instead of his uniform shirt.

Why would a Sox fan want to see this at US Cellular?

oh, and if you haven't been to Comiskey lately you can't say anything - especially if you play in a stadium where chunks of concrete fall on people

I was at yesterday's game - great game but I am still thawing out - the new LF gamecast scoreboard is really nice

Don't your fans throw garbage onto the field when they don't get a call? That's some respect right there.

But it won't be, because judges are lawyers, too.

When did we becomes a country of cry babies?
Hard to say exactly when, but probably about the time lawyers discovered the gold mine in taking money from successful people/corporations by packing juries with people who thinks the world owes them a living.

Wait, I thought Cubs fans told me that they don't care about the White Sox, and that Sox fans are obsessed with the Cubs.

Then why all the Cub fans in here talking smack?

It didn't dawn on me until halfway through the second inning that they replaced it despite having been looking at it the entire time I filled out my scorecard. It really is a huge upgrade. The park just continues to improve year after year. The new amenities almost justify relinquishing the naming rights.

Today's game was equally as stellar, and just as frigid. We had to bail on our seats on the first base side once the shadows began creeping our way (and the temperature began to drop) and make our way out to some seats just behind the left field foul poll. Provided being in the sun, it was a beautiful day for a game.

/I tried talking to Ozzie, soze. He responded by forcing us to endure both Dotel and Richard in the same game. Take that for what you will.

soze: The Ligues are proof positive that we should discriminate against cub fans at the gate.

Actually, I don't believe the Ligues were Cub fans. From what I remember from the news at the time, the low-lifes' sister described the pair as "not really baseball fans." Eric Dybas, who attacked umpire Laz Diaz was described as "a big-time Cub fan" and had been drinking at Wrigley that day.

However, Cubs fans have attacked their own players while in their park on 2 occasions as Randy Meyers and Bobby Howry can attest to that. Cub fans have also started a brawl with a Dodgers catcher in the bullpen area. Cub fans also trash their own field with trash quite often. We'll also make note of the plethora of racial insults lobbed at their own players.

I don't mind the Cubs and I don't mind Cub fans. I loathe Cub "fans" however. You know the ones who can't name more than 3 players and are at the Cubby Bear before the game is over so they can get a good spot at the bar.
