This is all a bit too close to home (or at least work) for me. The road was closed when I was driving over the other morning and I had to backtrack and take a long diversion.

I arrived at work to say, "Sorry I'm late, the road was closed" only for my boss to say, "Yes, they found a leg in the field next to it".

Which isn't a bad excuse for being late really.

/what the hell did this guy do to annoy somebody that much?

2009-04-03 10:52:05 AM
Sounds like a pretty severe injury

Mrs. Leverlilly: You've ruined that piano!
Clouseau: What is the price of one piano compared to the terrible crime that's been committed here?
Mrs. Leverlilly: But that's a priceless Steinway!
Clouseau: Not anymore!

Paddy and Mick had been out boozing on Saturday night, and were
passing by another pub which had been destroyed by an IRA bomb only minutes before.

As they passed, a head rolled out of the smouldering ruins and across the pavement before them.

Paddy stooped, picked it up and held it for Mick to see.

"Ara sure now Mick, bejayzizz, sure an isn't this oul' Sean Murphy, begorrah?"

"Ara sure, Paddy, no, it couldn't be. It's an amazing' resemblance, but sure an oul' Murphy was a lot taller than that."

A truly excellent head line.

Bravo, subby.
