Maybe his mom will give him a Hummer, and a vehicle too.

2003-02-06 01:51:00 AM
Very talented QB. Zook was lucky to get him...

His dance with Teneessee during the recruiting process was like a soap opera

Where does it say he's out shopping for bling? He sounds a hell of a lot more humble than LeBron James.

2003-02-06 01:56:20 AM

Here ya go, kid. Take your pick.

2003-02-06 01:56:51 AM
"Leak had a girlfriend last year, but the couple broke up one day after a teammate razzed him for holding hands in public"

Talk about commitment

2003-02-06 01:57:11 AM
I thought bling was money too? Can you shop for bling with bling?

2003-02-06 01:58:17 AM
I'm all about confidence in athletes, hell I think you have to have a lot of confidence, but this kid just pisses me off... I hope he gets pounded at summer workouts and redshirts, just out of spite :-P

2003-02-06 01:58:25 AM
yeah i read the rest he actually sounds cool... sorry for post =P hell "Bugs Bunny, his favorite cartoon." how bad can he be? =P

2003-02-06 01:59:58 AM

2003-02-06 02:00:16 AM
I can't wait to see him take a helmet to the knee.

Yeah. yeah, I know I'm evil. So sue me.

2003-02-06 02:01:43 AM
The SEC is a whole different game from high school. He better prepared to get hurt, a lot cuz our o-line sucks.

2003-02-06 02:02:03 AM
he never says bling.. i read about half of the article. sounds like a nice guy (for a change)..

"All he does is football and academics. There's no room for anything else in his life."

of course that's kinda sad. still, he's not cocky about his abilities, and although i really don't care about athletics, there's nothing i can do about the fact that someone with his talent will go on to make millions (if his body holds out). I'm just glad to know that he doesn't have the usual ego to match.

randomness rules!

2003-02-06 02:03:12 AM
He was smart to pick a school like Florida which doesn't have any salary cap issues.

2003-02-06 02:07:24 AM
It's nice to see an athlete who's in it for the game itself, and not for the money, fame, etc.

I just hope it lasts. I'll keep my on this one.

2003-02-06 02:07:46 AM
Thank you, I'll be here all week.

2003-02-06 02:14:36 AM

1. Welcome to fark, VexedThespian.

2. Since when does a college student call playing a game a "job." Let's see his SATs.

I hope he enjoys playing on the Bengals...

2003-02-06 02:49:38 AM
Screw you guys, the Gators will kill you all.

Just wait.

2003-02-06 02:49:57 AM
Did you guys read the part about him throwing left-handed? Truly, truly sick.. if he can pull that off he will change the way the game is played.

2003-02-06 02:50:31 AM
unleash the MF bling all up in this biotch

2003-02-06 02:50:50 AM
I meant ambidextrously.. he's learning to throw with the left hand in addition to the right one

2003-02-06 03:00:55 AM
coach Tom Knotts?

wasn't dude's former gig busting Jack Tripper's balls about living with two SCANDALOUSLY hittable chicks yet failing to uh, close the deal?

Or looking to clear some trim down at the Regal BEagle, or tagging Mrs. Roper?

and back in the day didn't he carry around One Bullet?

2003-02-06 03:40:39 AM
"I just know this offense fits me perfectly."

Wow. Full of himself already. Most players hope to fit in to the offense. Not the other way around.

2003-02-06 04:09:52 AM
True dat, Special J

2003-02-06 05:09:30 AM
Football's so gay.

2003-02-06 05:49:47 AM
i would so hit it if it weren't for the fact that he goes to bed at 10:00 pm. wtf? is he 17, or a freaking monk?

i bet he's still a virgin. hahahaha. the best football player my age, and a virgin. who'd have thought.

2003-02-06 05:56:44 AM
I get to the end of the article. I start thinking, "oh yea, this one's gonna self-destruct big time." I get the feeling it not *HE* that has the interest in football, but his dad. Doesn't seem to have any kind of ego, very quiet.

"He always keeps to himself. Never bothers anyone..."

2003-02-06 06:16:04 AM
"My goals are to win the starting job, and then win three or four national championships," Leak said. "If the Heisman Trophy happens, it happens. To win championships at Florida, that's the plan."

I'd give 10 to 1 that he doesn't win a single national championship as a starting quarterback, and 5 to 1 that Florida doesn't win one in the next 4 years. "Three or four" national championships ... what a farking idiot.

2003-02-06 06:35:32 AM
I'm thinking of putting 2 steering wheels in my car, like a Driver's Ed car. That way I won't have any blind spots.

2003-02-06 06:38:02 AM
As I life-long Gator fan, I assure you: coach Zook will find a way to screw this kid up.

Rex Grossman is driving down the field in our bowl game this year. He's hot. Driving for the winning score. Zook lets the O. coordinator call a halfback pass by a freshman. Taking the ball out of Grossman's hands. A freshman. throws an interception.

Zook is a numbskull.

2003-02-06 06:47:54 AM
Farking idiot for saying that he plans to win some national championships? I think the idiot would be the person that goes in expecting to win a game or two.

BTW, You can really tell the posters that have NEVER played sports before. Someone should post a Dungeons and Dragons link before they explode with rage.

2003-02-06 07:28:01 AM
Just another humble ballplayer about to make millions... yawn. (I wish it were me!!!)

2003-02-06 08:25:38 AM
Florida... national championships... in the next 4 years... nope...

I am a tOSU fan but I have to admit Miami, USC, and Oklahoma will all win before the gators.

Plus... you never know about tOSU.... we could (I said could, NOT would, so weauxf gods back off please!) win it again.....

Oh... and if you don't know what weauxf means you aren't a RSFCK'er.

2003-02-06 08:47:10 AM
The kid seems like hes only "ACTING" humble so people dont think hes an arsehole....reading the article though shows that the kid is full of himself..

Special J: Right on man...i started Varsity Goalie...ice hockey for three years...and i never got cocky..i just went out and played my hardest, as PART of the time....I never saw my team mates as something there to simply back me up...i was there to back THEM up

2003-02-06 09:15:26 AM
wow
