No offense to this subby, but there have been a lot of bad pun-ridden headlines lately. I mean more than usual.

An ion walks into a bar and says, "Hey, bartender. Can you help me? I seem to be missing an electron."
The bartender says, "Are you sure?"
The ion replies, "I'm positive!"

/Just getting it out of the way.

I had to read it three times before I got the "alchemy" one.

This pun was stretched to the snapping point. I love a pun, but this one's trying too hard.

China, where the toys have lead and the paint doesn't.

I don't know what standards you all are judging puns by, but the alchemy one is the best I've seen in a while. Are you guys mispronouncing it or something?

Tacky headline subby.

I heard that they caught him by placing a mole in his operation, but I have nothing to base it on.

Should have guarded it with a propyl people ether.

If only he hadn't quit his job first. He could have been safely in China before calling the old employer and resigning.

2009-03-27 07:44:41 PM
Well at least he didn't make away with that AIDS cure or that wily Cancer anti-virus. That would have been tragic.

Gee, I thought China was like the magic kingdom for all things made. The acme of R&D. Cranking out products that are all things to everyo...

Oh, no.. wait, my bad.

We just send them blueprints and orders to slap stuff together for as cheaply as possible and at 60¢ an hour.

Valspar and Benjamin Moore's Aura paints are two very highly guarded formulas and they're about the best paints you can buy. People are gonna feed their families, here, next year because the market wont be flooded with 12.99 a gallon "Varspal" paint.

The alchemy pun was a stroke of genius.
