it's a shame that it was shot on a cellphone.

Fortunately they are protected by some sheepskin coats...

and a hat.

Luckily, the heat isn't strong enough to melt their brass balls... or the steel plates in their heads...

So its basically a Chinese Burning Man?

Watch it in high quality (click the little HQ button at the bottom) and it's not half bad.

That's a really impressive combination of beauty and utter disregard for personal safety

Pffff. That's nothing.

I do it naked against the wall at Toys R Us, as part of my family's Easter festivities.

Goddammit - if I won the lottery, THIS is the kind of thing I would spend my winnings on seeing in person, preferably on mushrooms. Holy hell that was awesome.

You know you're doing it wrong when flinging molten metal is safer than drinking the milk.

Awesome though.

That was awesome. I liked how the farmers spun around to fling the molten iron against the wall. Not only does the crowd get treated to fireworks, they also get a ferrous wheel.

Seems like one of those things that you would expect to be really spectacular in person, but when you got there and saw it, you'd be let down. But I haven't seen it in person yet, so I still think it looks beautiful.

that looks dangerous hurry lets make it illegal

On Fark, those two things are not mutually exclusive.

Geeezus thats awesome.

If we ever have to fight these guys in armed massive conflict, I think the end dammage tally will make all former wars in all of history combined look like a sunday picnic with water balloons. We're heavily armed and they are crazy, Joker crazy.

They have been playing with flying molten Iron, for over 500 years, just for the lulz.

That's pretty sweet. I doubt very many people get hurt from that, you would be surprised at how little sparks like that actually burn.

What an outstanding combination of awesomeness, brass balls and stupity.

Absolutely beautiful, but I question the logic of wearing what looks like a straw vest when you're playing with molten metal.

2009-03-26 12:11:45 AM
Forget the guns, I want a pot of molten steel to use as home defense.

Heeeeeeeeeeere burglar burglar burglar...GOTHCHA!! >fling< SIZZLE

I was hoping the manager was going to give a 'thumbs-up' to the left-hander in the final innings in order to give the crowd something new to look at.

Good to see them getting a break from playing WoW.

Must have missed something. Where did the photo journal connect the Fe slinging to that particular fire?
