FTFA: Code enforcement officers removed eight cats from the home during the weekend and notified police about possible human remains inside.

So... I take it that the bureaucracy in Sebastian is a little... slow... in responding to complaints from its citizenry?

In most places, if the neighbors persistently complain about a bad smell coming from a place, the authorities will usually send someone out to check it out -- like within a reasonable period of time. Not years later.

Well, when she died, her body probably swelled up and all of her inside juices may have broken through her discolored skin and seeped onto and into the mattress she was laying on (probably covered with maggots, flies, and roaches). Then after awhile, that corpse juice (probably not the technical name for it) just starts to dry. Eventually, the parts where there was seepage would begin to get glued to the bed as the moisture evaporates. So, as time goes on, everything dries out and she ends up a mummy.

I need to stop watching reality shiat about coroners.
