Hopefully it's an actual vote of confidence on the new plan coming from the treasury, and not just some piggyback rally based only on the fact that the US markets soared on Monday.

So much is being traded on fear alone, it'd be nice to see some actual investor confidence coming back.

...on the news that their economies actually make stuff.

But I'm sure all the "The stock market has plunged 4,000 points (or whatever it really is) since Obama got elected!" crew will be just as eager to give him credit for this as they were the stock market fall.

Isn't it amazing what a mountain of free cash will do for people's attitude?

I invested in an energy mutual fund (mostly O&G, since $37 seemed pretty undervalued) at the end of February. It's now up 21% since then.

For 3 weeks work, I'm pretty happy.

Q1 corporate reports will be the decision makers. Doesn't matter how well the market does in the short term, if people are still out of work and companies still aren't selling shiat, it'll be back in the toilet in no time. I haven't really been paying attention to the volume of stocks being traded, anyone know how it compares to a similar rise say 4 or 5 years ago?

as a group, Asian women are better wives/partners than white american women.

because white american women are usually looking for something younger, better looking, and with a fatter wallet.

ain't capitalism great!

It must be just me, but I read the headline as "David Letterman finally married Bananarama."
