Indeed. Good estimation on the viability of the eYouth.

They should probably go lightly on any new spending.

On the plus side, the employees' pink slips come in those adorable little blue boxes.

So wait, people don't have money to spend on overpriced jewelry that everyone else already has? Say it ain't so!!

They should just sell the little blue boxes - that's the only thing people notice.

Well, that's what you get when you charge farking double for jewelry just because it comes in that box.

If you want great quality jewelry at a great price, go to somewhere like BlueNile.com. I bought the Mrs her ring from there and it's great.

Tiffany's brings me to my next rant, which is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn was such an insufferable coont in that movie, and everyone thinks she's this darling glamour girl. fark I hated her in that one.

I would agree that the quality at bluenile is as good, but the design for some of the items leaves something to be desired. Some of it looks like a knockoff of Tiffany or just chintzy.

As far as gemstones go, I totally agree on avoiding Tiffany.

If you want plain and simple, you can't go wrong with Bluenile. I do agree about the more elaborate, but if you just want something simple like a solitaire or a plain three-stone, all the way for Bluenile. Tiffany's has good designers and their jewelry is nice, but the ring at Tiffany's would have cost me 3 times as much as it did a Bluenile.

Came for the 80's references, leaving with a smile on my face.

I was listening to a story about how the mistresses of white collar workers weren't getting the gifts and trips they used to. I didn't believe them at the time, but it seems that this was the truth. I believe they were complaining about how the men wanted to talk about their feelings more, as well.

I think she's a terrific role model for young women. She teaches them that just because you're lazy and self-indulgent doesn't mean you can't make a decent living in quasi-prostitution and organized crime. And you can always find true love with some hunk who will be more than happy to overlook your drama queen predilictions.

Also, I'm disappointed that none of you redhead fetishizers posted links to Tiffany's Playboy spread. Then again, a GIS for "Tiffany" with Safe Search turned off kind of makes the whole issue moot.

At my local outlet mall, one of the jewelry stores was prominently advertising Canadian origin diamonds. They probably still come from DeBeers, though, if they come from the mine featured on Ice Road Truckers.
