My heart has a bias. A guy can break his leg in three places: "Hey, cowboy up Nancy. Walk it off". The victim might even laugh.

A woman gets injured ... not funny.

Grandma Bush?

THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT.

Sorry that my comment might seem to be directed towards you, TommyymmoT. When I read yours, my first thought was 'over in one'.

It was another current headline story, involving a ski-accident, that my comment was really about.

Huh? No appology needed. I thought it was just a random comment about women getting hurt, and I do agree with you about that woman's skiing accident.

according to the headline she didn't get injured, she got injuried, meaning she got drafted to be on a grand jury.

Family is so poor, they had to take out a loan to rent the refrigerator box in the alleyway.
Family is so poor, they didn't a pot to piss in so they whizzed into the storm drain.
Family is so poor, finding a stray dog meant fresh meals for 2 days.

Family is so poor, when it rains the family strips naked so they can wash their laundry before it stops pouring.

Family is so poor, they'd hide behind the Burger King dumpsters so that after the trash was thrown out they could finally snag a warm meal.

Family is so poor, when they go bathe in the lake the water looks like a cup of mocha coffee.

Injuried? Really?

The headline is teeming with fail.

I didn't know they were handing out greenlights just to placate retards.

Came for the misspelling comments. Leaving satisfied. So glad you all can always identify a misspelled word. You farkers are so smart.

Family is so poor, they wait until the rotting food in the dumpster is crawling with maggots so they can squish the "Ghetto Rice" for some easy protein.

Family is so poor, they scrub their teeth clean with the filter end of discarded cigarette butts.

Family is so poor, they lick the rusted railroad spikes for their daily required intake of iron.

Family is so poor, when they find a clean plastic carry-out bag they cheer at the thrill of having "clean butt wiping" times.

// Really being poor does suck. Making it funny is a disservice to the really poor and an insult to reality.

To be fair, I'm complaining about more than just the spelling.

1. Rhetorical questions are obnoxious.
2. What is Fark news?
3. Gratuitous use of the word "well."
4. Overall awkwardness.

Suggestion:

"Woman injured in tool shed fire."

Not only do the simpletons THRIVE on the misspelled word in the title, but they get raging boners if they're the first to point it out. It should be a new sport at the special olympics.

My father worked for control data as a engineer. Made good money.

We lived in a sears shed, and a teepee. I kid you not. We ran a hose painted black filled with water along the roof of the shed so we could get warm water.

Why? because it was a good way to save money. Now with me unemployed my father offered me the use of some land to do the same on with my wife and children. If it wasn't for the fact that it was in Hawaii and there is no way I want to subject my children to Hawaiian public schools unless no other choice is open I would take him up on it.

Yeah, but the only scum worse than grammar nazis are the people that love pointing out how bad grammar nazis are. I just HATE those people. Don't you? They THRIVE on other people recognizing misspelled words and they apparently receive sexual gratification from pointing them out. Scum!

We only aspired for a tool shed, we did.

Well there was a man who lived in a shed
Spent most of his days out of his head
For his shed was rotten let in the rain
Said it was enough to drive any man insane
When it rained
He felt so bad
When it snowed he felt just simply sad.

Well there was a girl who lived nearby
Whenever he saw her he could only simply sigh
But she lived in a house so very big and grand
For him it seemed like some very distant land
So when he called her
His shed to mend,
She said I'm sorry you'll just have to find a friend.

Well this story is not so very new
But the man is me, yes and the girl is you
So leave your house come into my shed
Please stop my world from raining through my head
Please don't think
I'm not your sort
You'll find that sheds are nicer than you thought.

Go ahead and do it. If your kids are average performers on the mainland, they'll be in the advanced (possibly genius) category there - think "Idiocracy"...

ghare: I've seen sheds at Home Depot that were nicer than a couple places I lived in back in college.

I've actually looked at some of those sheds (the larger ones) and thought "Hmmm, with a nice little wood burning stove, a couple cots, a table and a couple chairs, a few deep cycle marine batteries and a solar array to charge them, I could live in something like this indefinitely".

Certainly, they'd make a decent hunting cabin.

Buy a cheap piece of land in the middle of nowhere with some kind of running water on it, put one of these up for a few thousand bucks, and you could live quite decently for pretty much nothing.

The poverty in this state is overwhelming. No one cares even within the bounderies, let alone outside of the state. I really do fear for the future.
