if the eel is eating and seems healthy theres no reason to send him back to the wild. he would have lost his ability to survive in the wild. living with the family he gets regular meals and doesn't have to worry about preditor. i just don't understand why they don't invest in a aqarium after so much time.

I was going to adopt some lobsters for my bathtub. Until I realized people would go around saying,"Jim has bathtub lobsters". And I don't want people thinking I crap in my shower.
