In total honesty, I would like to see one. Not because the thought of it is remotely a turn on, but because of the same twisted curiosity that inspires me to visit sites like Rotten.com. It's so fu--ed up that you have to look.

If I'm walking down the street and I see a sign that says "Dudes blowing donkeys", I'm going in once.

I got nothing against dudes, and I got nothing against donkeys, but if I can pay a reasonable sum of money to watch a guy suck an animal's cock, I'm going to go.

I don't want to be an old man on my deathbead, thinking to myself "Ohh, I wonder what the look on the donkey's face was".

I agree, but if you have friends visiting, upping the risk is part of the fun. Particularly if they've never been there.

Here's a lovely article in the Guardian about how they had over a thousand murders in the first 4 months of last year.
(new window) That's 3,000 murders per year in a small town. L.A. runs around a thousand and even Detroit is nowhere near that rate. If you saw Gran Torino you probably noticed there was no one on the streets of Detroit. That's been the norm for decades in Detroit since I lived there in the 80s. Our nun dean of science at the nursing school at Mt. Carmel got murdered walking in her habit the 3 blocks from the hospital to the nursing school on Outer Drive and that was a quater of a century ago. People walk around TJ all the freakin time. That's because they are todo loco. Let me assure you there is absolutely nothing worth going to TJ for let alone dieing for. I wouldn't even go down to Olivera street in LA which is where you can get pretty much all the Mexican stuff you want. The Marine commandant of Camp Pendleton has put TJ off limits so even the Mexicans who are serving in the Marine Corps have to get written permission to go to TJ even if they are from TJ and have family in TJ.

In 2001, I had a girl talk me into taking her to Tijuana for St. Patricks Day.

We took a bus across the border around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. A bouncer convinced us to go into a bar, which was full of daylight and still had 75-100 drunken people in it. We ordered two Long Island Ice Tea's for $3/each.

Since it was happy hour, they brought us four Long Island Iced Teas and two shots of tequila.

It all went downhill from there.

A great point is made in the comments about all of the Americans who have died or lost their head down there in the violence.

ZERO.

THAT'S RIGHT, NO FREAKING BODY. Yeah, maybe the atmosphere is a bit edgy, but for Christ's sakes, stop being such damned pansies. What a bunch of whining losers. Man up and enjoy Mexico, life is short and it's much more likely for it to end for you, as an American, in AMERICA.

Ignorant wimps.
