I disagree vehemently with the headline, but it's still mildly amusing.

FTA: The social hub for Somali immigrants is a little coffee shop wedged between a T station and the transit police at Roxbury Crossing. Everyone seems to know everyone else's name, where they work, and where their children work.

2 friends of mine were born in the north.
They got married in the South.
They went to visit their parents in the north, and while there conceived.

They got a job offer in china for teaching. The baby was born there. They moved back when the child was 2, and bought a house in TN. The child speaks a mix of southern and northern. The parents can't understand her half the time.

Since she was born in china, is she chinese?

If all the silly-ass right-wing cliches are going to be used as raw material for the great headlines we've seen in the last few days, then all I can say is Godspeed, Limbaugh.

No, because the Chinese people did not kill the native people and steal their land. If they had done that, they would be called Americans.

Yeah, I wish they could all be as funny as the 334th "Mission Accomplished Headline" or the 879th "Chimpy McFlightsuit" headline. I thought liberals were supposed to have a sense of humor. Lighten up, Francis.

Presidents, no matter what their ideology, are going to be made fun of. Obama's much harder to make fun of then Bush, so people have to stretch a bit. Relax.

Um, I'm agreeing with you. I suppose I took a roundabout way to get there, but shiat, it shouldn't have to be explained. In simple terms anyone can understand:

1. HEADLINES ARE FUNNY
2. RIGHT-WING DRIVEL IS SOURCE OF HEADLINES
3. DON'T WANT FUNNY HEADLINES TO GO AWAY
4. KEEP IT UP, RIGHT-WINGERS AND HEADLINE WRITERS

Savage No, we can't stop. It's funny. Install Humor 2.3 and be done with it.

Walnuts I think we all want what's best for the country, but we don't think he's doing that. In fact, it really doesn't seem that different from what Bush was doing (at least for the big ticket items like Iraq, Afghanistan, and the economy).

I find nothing humorous in the neo-con mind that thinks they can defend a moron like GWB and demand that the left not criticise him because it's insulting "the office" on one hand, and on the other they freely demean and criticize Obama on the other. Even going so far as to say that he wasn't born a naturalized citizen. At least Obama was able to offer PROOF that he was born in the USA. I still haven't seen any papers on WMD's.

Yah - too much. If you sounded more reasonable, you'd get more bites. Try this for size:

Those on the right were playing the "respect the POTUS card and being told to fark off, so expecting them to do the same when many on the left are now attempting to play the same "respect" card seems to be hypocritical on both sides. As such, the best thing for the left to do is simply ignore it.

/fiscal conservative, social liberal - so Obama's doing some things I like, some things I hate. Unfortunately, the bad things outweigh the good, for me.

Yes, the DNC risked its entire future as a party on the hopes of a BLACK KENYAN that they were hoping to sneak by 300 million Americans, every major news network on the planet, the CIA, NSA, FBI, and every other government agency in the country.

They spent a billion dollars getting him elected. He's been on TV damn near every day for 3 years. And, he's not an American citizen.

You figured it out. Every reporter on the planet, every government agent looking in to it, the DNC, the GOP, McCain, Palin, Karl Rove, Bill Kristol, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and every other nutjob on the planet couldn't find rock solid proof.

But, at 9:09am on March 13th, cranched figured it out because he noticed that a scanned copy of someone else's birth certificate from another state doesn't look like one from his family members.

Woah woah woah. Thats a heavy accusation. 9/11 Truthers are nutjobs and try to find facts where there are none. He makes a very obviously true point that it doesnt. Weither or not it means anything is up to someone who knows if its standard on a birth certificate for that state.
