Can't wait. I loved watching Super Dave and Bizzare when I was a kid. It warped me wonderfully.

Now where are my genuine Saskatchewan Seal Skin Bindings??

One good thing about the tanking economy is lots of cool and good old people are coming back. Maybe it sucks for them, but I like being able to see 'em again.

Not many people know Super Dave's real life brother is Albert Einstein.

2009-03-08 04:32:26 AM
So how many people don't know that Super Dave is Albert Brooks' brother?

I used to love that show, especcially the "t-shirt converstion" bits.

What ever happened to Byner? He was a funny dude.

i used to watch super dave when i was a kid, i saw his movie awhile back on Encore.

lets hope he brings back the funny.

Albert Brooks de-Jewified his name Einstein to Brooks. Anyway Super Dave may be embarrassingly old for this. I hope not, but if anyone remembers Lucille Ball's last attempt at a sitcom, there is such a thing as too old.

I met Super Dave once while he ws walking his dog next to the golf course where he has a place in California. I told him that I was a big fan and to keep the good work. He appreciated it.

I wish him the best.

I saw his movie on Comcast on Demand, and couldn't stomach it. It was terrible.

British: I saw his movie on Comcast on Demand, and couldn't stomach it. It was terrible.

Not really. It brought back a lot of the old Super Dave stunts/accidents. I thought it was funny.

Personally my favorite bit was when George Foreman uppercutted him in the nuts, and he just kinda walks around mumbling, getting books, gets in a car and instructs his driver where to go, gets out, walks a bit, then falls right into a grave. Also the bits with Ray Charles were comedy gold!

From Curb Your Enthusiasm to pulling stupid, dangerous stunts. Seems like a logical transition.

This is surprising. Last time I saw him (in Ocean's 13), he didn't look well.
