To replace a kidney? No way that's gonna work.

So...will he reject it on ethical grounds?

FTFY

/Never mind that your sentence would have benefited from Subby's semicolon.

Wow, the only thing that would've made this whole shebang better is if the operation had been a partial colon removal. Cuz see, then it would be a semicolon. Cuz see, subby made a typo. Cuz see, I feel the need to correct other people's writing because it makes me feel superior when I don't get greenlit.

/Cuz see

Aww. I hope the prosecutor's immune system doesn't file a lot of dilatory motions in an effort to secure a summary dismissal with prejudice.

I suspect grammar Nazis are formed as the result of an inability to get any of their unreadable dreck published.

I think this is great!! In November I lost a kidney to cancer. Something very strange happened. I am diabetic too and had to take medication 3 times a day. The surgeon told me no to take the diabetic medication until I talked to my primary doctor. In taking my blood sugar level I noticed that without the meds it was normal!! When I got to my primary doctor about a week after the surgery he told me "With only one kidney the insulin your body makes hangs around longer".
To make a long story even longer, I feel better than I did before the surgery and it looks like they got all the cancer. You can easily function with one kidney and in my case even feel better. So kudos to this guy for donating a kidney!!

James F. Campbell: I suspect grammar Nazis are formed as the result of an inability to get any of their unreadable dreck published.

Some of us become grammar Nazis proofreaders when someone insults the intelligence of another with a poorly punctuated and/or misspelled post. I don't know about anyone else, but I also find that scenario endlessly hilarious.

Two lawyers? I hate to sound cynical, but there had to be some cash involved in this deal.

Headline: Prosecutor receives kidney from rival defense attorney

TFA: Scott Skelton is a defense attorney in Lufkin.

So far, Skelton's body hasn't rejected the kidney and of course, he has no objection to it either

The defense attorney took the kidney. You didn't honestly think one would voluntarily give up something, did you?

"There, I saved you. Can't wait for the next time we're arguing in court."

"Watch your blood pressure."

"Sure, now that I saved your life, you decide to pick on me"

They should put a valve on the supply to a diabetics second kidney then. Then their insulin will last longer. They can always open the floodgates later if needed.

No, we reproduce by fission. Just like all the other bacteria.

So here's the legal question I posed to my husband - will it be a conflict of interest for them to face each other in court now?

I do not think that article of punctuation means what you think it means.

Somehow I always suspected it would roll that way.

A semicolon is not a surgical procedure.

An em dash would work too, but I don't know that you can enter one with FARK's text entry interface thingy. If you can enter one here, please let me know how. HTML code I would imagine. I love me some em dash action!
