My brother and I frequently kayak in those waters. They are definitely difficult. What worries me is that he returned to shore when the waters were bad, and probably didn't review it. 7 miles is too long to travel to leave it up to chance.

It's hard to read this story when you know your brother could have been him.

I work out there in the summers, and have seen just how fast those waters can get ugly. Poor bastard should've stayed at Smutty or gone over to Star for the night.
