JamesLi: Now, why he wasn't charged with domestic violence I have no idea, but all that stuff you said is nonsense.

Everyone else here 'has an idea' why he "wasn't charged with domestic violence"- he's the son of a cop. And cops look after their own.

Since when does rabid=fast?

About the time you spelled "rabid" with a "p" in your Boobies.

"p" in the Boobies? This Saturday's shaping up just fine.

And if my son did something like this, I'd damn well be sure he was charged appropriately. Of course, I raised my son better than to be a piece of shiat.

JamesLi: For ONCE, the cop was suspended without pay. But there are plenty of cases (the majority, I'd say) where cops are suspended WITH pay, so it's only natural someone would make a mistake.

Try Google.com. It's an internet search engine that can bring results from simple queries. Such as :
Results 1 - 10 of about 206,000 for "paid administrative leave". (0.17 seconds)

Alternately, you can search news sites only:

Results 1 - 10 of about 534 for paid-administrative-leave. (0.39 seconds)

a few excerpts:

Police arrested one of their own officers Thursday and charged her with driving under the influence after crashing her personal SUV while off duty last month..... Shook had been placed on paid administrative leave Friday, but declined to comment further on the investigation.

See, drive drunk, get a free vacation! And then, they close the case: "The investigation was later closed and no charges were filed against Shook..."

Another:

The partner of the wounded Mahnomen County deputy is on paid administrative leave, pending the investigation of Wednesday's shooting and nearly nine-hour long standoff here.
Mahnomen County Sheriff Doug Krier said Deputy Chad Peterson was placed on leave after firing one shot at two suspects.

Shoot a suspect, get a free vacation! Oh, and this happens all the time: "Krier said it's standard procedure to place a deputy on leave after they've been involved in a shooting."

Another:

Lt. Howard Wheeler, 57, of Saugus, has been placed on paid administrative leave after he was allegedly involved in a fight with two other men, including a former auxiliary police officer, outside the Fox Hill Yacht Club on Jan. 24.

Oh, and that article also includes the following interesting tidbits: Wheeler earned "a base salary of $145,801 and an additional $11,634 in road details totaling $157,435." and a mention of another cop who stole a gun. Of course, in that case, "In the case of LaBella, Woburn police spokesman Detective Ralph Coakley declined to release the video tape that allegedly shows LaBella stealing the gun." Gee, one cop refusing to release evidence of another cops guilt? That never happens. [/sarcasm]

Anyway, how many more would you like? You can find as many as you want at Google.

FTFA: ...Det. Kenneth Freeman, who was suspended for 28 days for shoving a 71-year-old Wal-Mart greeter who was trying to make a package check.

I've never shoved one of these old coots, but I have told them "no thanks" when they wanted to do a package check. Same at Fry's Electronics. They just back right off and let me go.

The one time I was challenged after saying no (at Fry's) I replied that if they suspected me of shoplifting then they could call the cops, but that I would not submit to being searched by store personnel. The package checker backed right off and said something like "have a nice day" and stepped out of my way.

IANAL, but I suspect store personnel have no actual authority to stop and search customers or their belongings. Furthermore, I think they just rely on the sheeple to just go along with the search out of ignorance.

God you are a farking idiot.
I wasn't correcting your grammar, I was correcting your statement he "SHOT HIM" as opposed to "SHOT AT HIM".
You quoted the article, then still lied to try to make your post sound better.

LOGICAL_PSYCHO: I wasn't correcting your grammar, I was correcting your statement he "SHOT HIM" as opposed to "SHOT AT HIM".

The only time the word "shot" appears, it is part of a quote from the article. I, on the other hand, used the word "shoot". If you wish to correct me, correct what I wrote, not the quote from the article.

And yes, I forgot the "at". I should have said "Shoot at a suspect, get a free vacation!" Like I already acknowledged when I said:
I think you mean "shoot at", moron, not "shoot".

It is standard procedure to place a cop on paid leave pending the results of an investigation. And it should be. It's called "CYA." they don't know if he's guilty of a crime or not, so they take him off the street for safety, but continue to pay him. But they don't EVER use paid leave as a punishment.

JamesLi: Magorn: datenschwanz: is there a friends and family plan for the wall of blue silence?

You are already seeing it in action:

"Ralph Kenneth Freeman II, 27, of 6121 Sagefield Lane, Harrison, is charged with vandalism and theft under $500."

and this is after, according to the article he:

Ms. Houston said Freeman threw his drink in her face through the screen door...She said Freeman proceeded to unscrew the antenna off her vehicle and began letting the air out of her tires. He told her if she did not let him in that "things will just get worse," the report says...Freeman grabbed the garbage can and dumped the trash on the back porch.

He then got her barbeque grill and threw it at her car, breaking the front passenger window.

She said, before leaving on foot, he removed her tag from the car.

and for that he's got two very minor misdemeanor charges instead of aggravated assault, battery (the drink counts), making terroristic threats (something that has nothing to do with terrorism BTW), Malicious destruction of property, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and possibly attempted Breaking and entering

Except no. Now, why he wasn't charged with domestic violence I have no idea, but all that stuff you said is nonsense.

Your second screed pretty much sums up your comments on piggery in general.

Now go and phony up some arrest records.
