Is this safe????? I want it to have Jeanane Garofalo's expertice stamp of approval first!

With such extreme speeds and heights, will women still be able to flash their boobies?

2003-01-28 03:31:00 PM
At the summit the cars...will face directly towards the ground as they fall 400ft, twisting 270 degrees before completing the ride.

I don't know about the rest of you, but that sounds like a hell of a lot of fun to me.

Never tried to flash my boobies at 120mph. Not sure if the physics involved might smash my T-shirt against my face. But you'd be better off that way anyway.

Old news? I thought we learned about this last month... I remember, I watched videos of the thing.

DslanteC, women will be able to flash their boobies, but the speed involved with cause said boobies to flatten, turning a Brooke Burke chest into Kate Moss.

2003-01-28 04:37:55 PM
Or maybe they will just ripple and flap in the wind.

Can boobies ripple?

2003-01-28 04:38:16 PM
We like 'em fast and high in Ohio!

2003-01-28 04:38:18 PM
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

2003-01-28 04:38:58 PM
Stop drooling, Mike, you'll get some.
*cackle*

2003-01-28 04:39:19 PM
*Yawn* Jump out of an airplane, then come talk to me about thrills.

2003-01-28 04:39:28 PM
So the 400 foot tall coast is 200 feet higher than the title holding 318 foot coaster. Interesting.

2003-01-28 04:39:30 PM
Sounds like a puke fest

Witness naked skydiving. NSFW.

Did I miss the part where it said it was 518 ft. tall?

Passengers strapped into the Dragster at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky will drop 400ft at 120mph.

The rollercoaster will beat by more than 200ft the tallest ride record - 318ft set in 2000 by the Steel Dragon rollercoaster at Nagashima Spaland in Mie, Japan

anyone else having problems with that math?

2003-01-28 04:40:20 PM
The first thing I thought was of all the pictures of people riding it, lips flapping away & eyes blown wide open.. nobody will pay for those pics at the end of the ride.

2003-01-28 04:40:37 PM
Doh! Naked skydiving! NSFW!

Steelwelder: Yeah, no shiat. Skydiving from 10,000 is hella fun.

2003-01-28 04:45:30 PM
Anyone else think that rollercoasters are just kind of lame?

2003-01-28 04:45:44 PM
We Ohioans love our Cedar Point, but MAN... somebody gonn' DIE.

2003-01-28 04:47:27 PM
anyone else having problems with that math?

Yep, was about to post something similar: The Dragster is designed to scare even the most vertigo-immune by rocketing its customers 240ft into the air then turning them by 90 degrees until it reaches its full height of 420ft.

When did 420 become 200 greater than 318?

Did I miss something?

2003-01-28 04:47:44 PM
Okay, Collywobbles, that's just disturbing. Boobies should never look like that. They're being abused! Save the boobies!!

2003-01-28 04:48:09 PM
ok, WHEN will these damn deathtraps be high/fast enough for everyone to start working on something else?? me, personally, i hate rollercoasters, way too scary!

2003-01-28 04:48:31 PM
Cedar Point is, bar none, the BEST amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.

Hell, it could be the best amusement park in all of Ohio.

2003-01-28 04:48:36 PM
This is from the UK, Maybe the math is screwed up because of the metric system.

2003-01-28 04:48:49 PM
I'm hitting this later this year. I'll have to wait in line for probably 5 hours, but I'll do it anyway!

2003-01-28 04:49:07 PM
i am so there... road trip from Toronto... who's in?

2003-01-28 04:49:22 PM
Vomit Comet, the Sequel.

2003-01-28 04:49:36 PM
This confirms it. My families' next vacation will be at WallyWorld !

2003-01-28 04:50:12 PM
Also coming soon to Cedars Point: Lake Puke, situated directly beneath our brand new Dragster rollercoaster!

2003-01-28 04:50:41 PM
Collywobbles

That's just looks sick man. Those boobies look like upsidedown cups.

2003-01-28 04:51:04 PM
318 ft + 200 ft = 518 ft not 400 ft...
am I wrong here?

2003-01-28 04:51:40 PM
wonder if four winged dinosaurs drinking cat poo coffee will be allowed to ride... and for the record, lake erie is lake puke roller coasters or no roller coasters..

2003-01-28 04:51:42 PM
Roller Coasters rock. Problem is that all the places that have the good ones are wall to wall gang-bangers and fat hogs in spandex shorts trying to run you down with a stroller?

2003-01-28 04:51:58 PM
Went to Cedar Point a couple years ago and lost my cookies on the Magnum. It was the first roller coaster I had been on ever. Probably the last. Good times though, good times.

2003-01-28 04:52:25 PM
I wonder how many dumbass stoners are going to try and toke one up when it reaches its "full height of 420 ft."

2003-01-28 04:52:56 PM
{{{{{the Steel Dragon rollercoaster at Nagashima Spaland in Mie, Japan,..... the Dodonpa rollercoaster in the Fujikyu Highlands, FujiYoshida-shi, Japan}}}}}}}}

Funny how they had the tallest and fastest coasters but were'nt tall enough to ride them.

2003-01-28 04:53:51 PM
OK, so here's my guess.

It says that it drops riders over 400 feet. It doesn't say that the ride itself is 400 feet tall. It is probably 500+ feet tall, it's just that the ride comes out of the drop around the 400 foot mark.

2003-01-28 04:54:26 PM
The pic on my profile is from Cedar Point. That place rules, I hope this cuts down the lines for the Millenium Force. That ride is amazing.

2003-01-28 04:54:30 PM
Going there this summer.....can't wait!

2003-01-28 04:54:37 PM
ya know MIKE's already got a car reserved writen in his name.....in blood. on that thing.

2003-01-28 04:54:54 PM
magnum was one of the first roller coasters ive ever been on... when i was in first grade... at least with this thing opening i can get on millenium a few more times...

2003-01-28 04:55:10 PM
Gotta do this. Fark meet at Cedar Point this summer. Anyone see how many G's this pulls going over the top?

2003-01-28 04:56:34 PM
ok, scratch that idea. I just saw the specs and it says that the ride is 420 feet high and the drop is 400 feet.

/me thinks the math is wrong

2003-01-28 04:58:28 PM
DonSlice:
Fekk yeah it is! I find that all else pales in comparison.

2003-01-28 04:58:43 PM
Skydiving is the ultimate rollercoaster, without the ummm roller and uhh the coaster too. What was I saying again?

2003-01-28 04:58:59 PM
Sorry but straight up and down is not a rollercoaster.
