France has had a problem with Algerian terorists for years. These Algerians are quite close to al-quida these days, effectivly working togeather.

As for France selling a reactor to Iraq. Well the US and UK sold a nice collection of WMD(tm)(r) to Iraq not just in the 80's but in the 90's too, not to mention training of troops etc. etc. (I won't bother with refences to North Korea at the moment)

But I'll bite, I would love a Kurdistan. I would completely support a military action that overthrew Saddam and allowed the Kurds their own country. Only problem is that even though we CAN do this Turkey says no Kurdistan, so the war continues with the PKK fighting a hopeless war against 2 countries with no place to call home.
