Obama just predicted the Steelers in a close game BUT I think it will be the Steelers but by >10 points.

2009-02-01 05:23:46 PM
Will the Stealers pay off the referees again this year?

2009-02-01 05:23:51 PM
The over under is 53 1/2 as close as I can tell.

Arizona by 10, and take the over.

It's gonna be a barn burner.

As always, go with the more distinctive chin.

Montana, Bradshaw, Brady, Nameth, Aikmen, Manning, Manning Roethlesberger, Plunkett....

The chin wins!

The Seahawks got hit by one bad call that game- the low block on Hasselbeck. And that was hardly a game changer.

Oh, and I'm picking the Cardinals by 4.

2009-02-01 05:29:36 PM
Hey, it's Matt Millen.

Anyone who says he doesn't belong there is an ass. He won four Super Bowls.

And this is coming from a Lions fan.

Matt Millen, a perfect expert to tell us all about winning the SB.

2009-02-01 05:30:03 PM
Is that Matt Millen on the panel?

2009-02-01 05:30:11 PM
Keys to winning: Do the exact opposite of whatever Matt Millen says.

2009-02-01 05:30:20 PM
As much as I'd like to see the Cardinals win I just cannot pick Kurt "The Human Fumble" Warner against this Steelers defense. I hope I'm wrong, but I see the Steelers getting 2 or 3 TDs on defense/special teams.

2009-02-01 05:30:30 PM
Hey, I'm no Seahawks fan, but the refs played too big of a role in that game. There were way too many questionable calls, and all of the critical ones were against Seattle. I like to see games unequivocally settled by the teams on the field.

2009-02-01 05:30:56 PM
Steelers 28 Cardinals 10

/but I'm a limey and therefore know nothing about football

So where do I go to watch the game online?

2009-02-01 05:32:13 PM
Nothing like in depth game talk from Matt Millen.

It's like watching "The View" to get world news.

/Here's to a fairly called Steelers Superbowl.

This is an intervention, LaMel.

Seriously, LaMel?

Hahahahaha, I just got a Lions propaganda commercial! They're promising things to us like it's a political campaign.

Herman Borrach: There were way too many questionable calls

There were two. One for the Roethlisberger TD (and it was a TD) and the low block call on Hasselbeck. Seattle drew a lot of penalties. The bad news for them is that, most of the time, they really deserved those penalties.

It was a shiatty game on both sides of the field, but the Steelers were just a bit less shiatty.

Oh dear God, here in PA during the pregame commercials now Gus the Groundhog is dating a female groundhog for valentine's day.

I lol'd at that too. It should've said "we promise you a win" instead of "a winner".

thyocyan: Lt. Cheese Weasel: thyocyan: Lt. Cheese Weasel: Just get this out of the way early. No #6 for the Steelers.

As a still bitter Eagles fan, seeing them beat the Cowboys to 6 is my last bit of hope for this season. Plus the whole bazillion to 3 pounding the last game of the Cowboys' season.

Yea, I guess celebrating '4th and 1' was getting old as the only things Iggles fans could hang their hats on. 42-3 or whatever it was was embarassing, but not nearly so as having never won a ring.

Or not winning a playoff game in over a decade.

Well, we have more winning seasons than any team in history. So there's that. at least we have a Ring, in fact multiples of them. The closest youve ever gotten is McNabb dry heaving in the huddle during a superbowl game. Niiiiiiice. fark DA EAGLES.

They probably will have it once the game starts.
