Is the super bowl this weekend?

Do you think Bruce will show his nipple?

ju66l3r's Three Predictions:

Cardinals win, 24-21.

Ryan Clark will leave unconscious on a stretcher.

The best commercial will be made by Budweiser.

2009-02-01 02:29:00 AM
Cards 28-24

And there you have it.

2009-02-01 02:39:56 AM
I'm not sure if I"ll bother to flip to that channel or not tomorrow night. I really don't care about the game, and the commercials most certainly have sucked lately.

submitter: Will the Steelers become the first NFL team to win six titles? Will the Cardinals win their first? Will any of the commercials this year not suck?

These questions, and many more, will be answered on next week's episode of "Soap."

Hey, the pre-game just started!

TikiAndTorch: Hey, the pre-game just started!

What? Only 15hrs of pregame crap this year? Must be the recession. I blame Obama.

2009-02-01 03:35:32 AM
Steelers 27-14

2009-02-01 03:43:49 AM
No, Yes, I'd be happily surprised if any of them didn't suck

2009-02-01 03:47:20 AM
If the Steelers' fans are dealt the loss their obnoxious asses deserve I'll be happy. Otherwise I'll be glad that they have that, their guns, and religion to cling to as they look forward to the next four years of an Obama presidency.

2009-02-01 03:49:04 AM
Cardinals win 27-20

2009-02-01 03:52:51 AM
Goodness...starting this a little early, aren't we??

I expect the Cardinals to win, but I'm cheering for the Steelers because they made sure the Chargers won't be playing today.

/go Colts =(

1) I already gave away $100+ in TF sponsorships. Not doing it again until next year.

2) Making Pittzaburgers (ground beef mixed with bacon and cheese topped with mozzarella, diced peppers and onions with pizza sauce) and Southwestern nacho cheese dip & chips with Rolling Rock for PIT scores and Arizona Iced Tea and RUM for ARI scores

3) Pittsburgh 37, Arizona 26

I'm only sticking around for the Transformers trailer.

2009-02-01 04:31:34 AM
Also, in our office squares pool for $18 I got 3 squares...and I always write 'em in a row if I can.

I got PIT 3, ARI 0; PIT 2, ARI 0; PIT 0, ARI 0. LOVIN IT.

ju66l3r: Cardinals win, 24-21.

You're farking high.

McNabb won the game for the Cards with his beautiful, sweet inconsistency.

You're not going to find that kind of inconsistency with the Steelers.

The Cards are going to have to play better than they've played all season, and the Steelers are going to have to play worse than they've played all season for your prediction to come true.

2009-02-01 09:18:47 AM
Go Cards.
//420 my time is a great time to start a game.

2009-02-01 09:27:30 AM
Off to work in 10 mins, have to watch the first half there. 2 predictions:

1. Wishful thinking: AZ-24 Pitt-20
2. Actual result: Pitt-27 AZ-14

2009-02-01 09:50:31 AM
Steelers - 41
Arizona - 17

Arizona is ever-so-lucky to be here. 9-7 in the 2nd weakest division in football. Steelers #1 defense, good enough offense. Props to Whiz and coaching staff to wake them up just enough to come to the party but .... You turds who predict Arizona to win have absolutely no reason to believe the Cards will beat the Steelers, the Steelers would have to beat themselves (which, incidentally could happen, this is why we play the game! But won't. So there! Nyah, Nyah, Nyah!).

I'm not sure if subby is aware of it, but Arizona already has a title. This would just be their first Superbowl.

Hey, I've got a question.

Are there any Cardinals fans left in St. Louis? Are there fans who kept the Cards and didn't switch over to the Rams?

2009-02-01 10:41:41 AM
Their last "win" doesn't really count, unless you decide that paying off the refs is "winning"....

LordZorch: Their last "win" doesn't really count, unless you decide that paying off the refs is "winning"....

Yes, yes, and Diebold stole the election and 9/11 was a controlled demolition. Mm hm.

2009-02-01 10:57:26 AM
I'm cheering on the Cardinals just because they haven't won a Super Bowl before.

//at least the Niners played some games like they cared this year.

As a still bitter Eagles fan, seeing them beat the Cowboys to 6 is my last bit of hope for this season. Plus the whole bazillion to 3 pounding the last game of the Cowboys' season.

Yea, I guess celebrating '4th and 1' was getting old as the only things Iggles fans could hang their hats on. 42-3 or whatever it was was embarassing, but not nearly so as having never won a ring.

Or not winning a playoff game in over a decade.

3" thick Ribeyes are marinating. Brats and wings for lunch. Leinies 1833 Bock badboys are chillin'. Emergency Backup of Crown Royal/Coke. Fresh box of Courvoisier Cognac stogies. What am I missing?

I am staying away from liquor today. I have a bad, bad history associated with liquor at Super Bowl parties. It's Dos Equis and Yuengling Black & Tan for me all day.

maybe this is because i went into a football black hole after the ravens lost, but this feels like the least hyped superbowl of my lifetime. there is a lot of chatter about the cards. on the beatdown severity scale, this could be in the bears-pats, 9ers-broncos range. arizona went 3-7 when they weren't playing in the shiattiest division in the league. seriously, this has the potential to look like a terminator fighting a tricycle. of course, nothing would please me more than to be wrong about this. farking hate the steelers.

2009-02-01 12:21:00 PM
flavor of the month: arizona went 36-7 when they weren't playing in the shiattiest division in the league.
