That's a little disturbing. I would think that his bail would have been a little higher, considering the nature of the pipe bombs.

(Speculation: maybe he had lost a limb or two already and wasn't considered a flight risk.)

I'm hoping there is involuntary castration mentioned somwhere in his sentencing hearing. "You! Out of the gene pool!"

I don't know who is dumber in this case- the guy with the homemade explosives, or the cops that let him drive his freaking car(probably with the explosives inside) back to his house!
