Nunchakus are hand weapons consisting of two hardwood sticks joined by a chain or cord what Michaelangelo used.

Internet media needs to know its audience.

i always wondered, is it pronounced "nun-chucks" or "nun-cha-koo-s" cause i've heard it both ways.

Machetes are so lame. Girls only want boyfriends who have great nunckakas skills.

don't know but in Japan the "u" is rarely emphasized: i.e. Yokosuka is not pronounced "yo-ko-su-ka" it's more like "yokos-ka"

I guess those constant warning screens didn't make a difference. Maybe in Florida their Wiis say:

Please attach to wrist securely, etc...

Press B to start game, A to cancel.

I might have to disagree with the headline. While the gun is the obvious weapon of choice, nunchakus might be higher than machetes. Having grown up in Florida, I knew entirely too many people who owned (or sadly, built their own) set of nunchakus, along with various sets of throwing stars. Even more depressing, some of them would carry around one of their throwing stars in their wallets. Thankfully, now that I no longer live in Florida, I no longer know anyone who owns these things. About the only good thing about it was watching them hit themselves with the nunchakus while trying to display their ninja prowess.

/proudly never owned either item
//the Dragon's Teeth daggers are much cooler
///just kidding, no they're not

Were the nunchuks made from the wooden handle of a garden rake?

Your father's nunchucks. This is the weapon of a ninja. Not as clumsy or random as a machete; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

Instead of using a machete lawsuit, the traditional weapon of Florida, man hits a person over the head with nunchakus, thus offering the opportunity for said strikee to use traditional weapon of Florida.
