Actually it's closer to 6 inches in my driveway. Mr. Snowblower will make quick work of it though.

Not bad, but they don't have the charm of MTU's Winter Carnival.

What is this "snow" you speak of? It's currently pretty sunny here. Going to be 65 today.

/Is depressed. Would love to have snow.

I haven't seen snow in years. Ya'll keep that, we'll keep the humidity in the summertime, deal?

Shoveling snow makes me stronger and more virile.
At least that's what I've told myself several times this last couple of weeks.
Too bad it can't make me more handsome.
That said, it makes for a beautiful white Christmas.

Or the Domo-kun of Sapporo's Yuki Matsuri:

A bit more geekiness:

The big displays are actually constructed by JSDF troops:

Here's the park lit up at night:

Flickr Set 1 and Flickr Set 2 if anyone wants to see more. Sapporo's one of the best cities in Japan, primarily because the Dutch settled it so the streets are in a grid pattern unlike the abominations of Tokyo, Osaka, etc. Well worth the trip for snow lovers.

I kept reading that "GETOBAMA" and couldn't figure out why the DMV would have a problem with it.

Now, I STILL don't understand.

I'm so very confused. It's almost the end of the year.

According to the popular media:

- snow is a thing of the past, due to Global Warming(c)
- oil is over $300 a barrel
- a loaf of bread costs over $10

/what went wrong?

Snow? Cold?
Do not want!

The high today will be 75 with sunshine and blue skies. No sweaters needed nor any snow clothes. Just some sunscreen and flip flops.

But I guess the ice pictures are nice.

half a mile to fix lady's heater, dig out more on wednesday. 20
year record for snowfall- about 30 inches in two days. turned late
fall into instant deep winter. Ski lessons anyone?

Bwahahahahaha. I have 10 inches of drifting sunshine in my drive and I have to clear it out before I go golfing again. In December. And fishing. In December.

Y'all keep to the North. Florida is the worst state you will ever live in and it's going to get worse. Stay away. Turn around and go back. And pick up a Canadian under one arm and a New Yorker/Jerseyite under the other. And just go away. Thanks.

/Keep Florida Green - spend your money here then go back where ya came from.
//High 70s today and 80 tomorrow. Merry Christmas.
