HowlingFrog: Fizpez: It was all of 20 degrees last night, we had 24 hours of intermittent light freezing rain before hand - and the wind last night (and still now) felt like it was going to blow my house off of its foundation... sounds like the PERFECT time to fly a single engine plane around.

Um, he didn't crash last night.

OK I misinterpreted the dateline and when he died - it appears he died Friday - which was actually a worse day to be flying - that was the day the last storm to hit the midwest/northeast rolled on through. So I will retract my comment on the major wind going on today and instead go with the sleet, snow, icestorm we had Thursday night and most of Friday.

Weaver95: The Ordos believe he's been upgraded with either a Sarcosian Wave Generator or something from the Halo Stars. Dosen't really matter I suppose since he's been declared Excmmunicate Traitoris, threat level Hereticus Extremus. Capture for trial or termination at the discretion of the capture team.

MickCollins: These "Bush rigged the elections!" people are the left equivalent of "Obama was born outside the US and is a Muslim!" people.

There's that, and the fact that IF he rigged elections and IF he was going to rat out Rove and Cheney about it, then he was a nasty little piece of shiat that deserved to die.

You don't get to that level of power without the willingness and ability to eliminate anyone that might become inconvenient. The Bush/Clinton junta has made it into an art form. And your chosen savior (tm) isn't going to be any different.

It's an old tactic killing people with plane crashes. But ... I laughed out loud on this one, because it's clear as day that the interests behind Velvet Revolution arranged for Connell's death so determined are they rub out GWB and members of administration. Trust me on this, we're at that stage where a President acting on globally approved intel, with United Nation's backing protected the free world and the Truthers out there want to bring him up on war crimes. The hog is in the tunnel and it's The Age of Confusion Ruled By The New Dumb ... Connell was most certainly killed by the very people seeking to use him. Not GWB's people.

And just so Conservatives don't take it to heart
I don't think Bush did it, 'cuz he isn't that smart
He's just a stupid puppet taking orders on his cell phone
From the same people that sabotaged Senator Wellstone
The military industry got it poppin' and lockin'
Looking for a way to justify the Wolfowitz Doctrine
And as a matter of fact, Rumsfeld, now that I think back
Without 9/11, you couldn't have a war in Iraq
Or a Defense budget of world conquest proportions
Kill freedom of speech and revoke the right to abortions
Tax cut extortion, a blessing to the wealthy and wicked
But you still have to answer to the Armageddon you scripted
And Dick Cheney, you farkin leech, tell them your plans
About building your pipelines through Afghanistan
And how Israeli troops trained the Taliban in Pakistan
You might have some house nubianz fooled, but I understand
Colonialism is sponsored by corporations
That's why Halliburton gets paid to rebuild nations
Tell me the truth, I don't scare into paralysis
I know the CIA saw Bin Laden on dialysis
In '98 when he was Top Ten for the FBI
Government ties is really why the Government lies
Read it yourself instead of asking the Government why
'Cuz then the Cause of Death will cause the propaganda to die..

Sorry folks, but not flying his plane wouldn't have kept him safe.

If someone truly wants to kill you, the only way to live is to not be found. Since he didn't go into hiding it didn't matter if he flew, drove or hitchhiked to his destination- if you can be found then you can be killed. It could be poison, a weapon, sabotage, ANYTHING- but what eventually gets you wouldn't have kept you safe if you'd avoided that ONE thing. They'd just go onto the NEXT method.

Mess with the bull, you get the horns.

so you advocate asssasinating people to cover up political corruption?

I don't know about you, but I advocate the presumption of innocence until guilt if proven.

Oh, and btw....if this guy really had to cancel 2 flights due to mysterious problems with his plane, and he was warned by people not to fly his plane, and he and his wife were really threatened by Rove, what kind of dumbass would be out there flying his plane?

Also, if he really truly needed protection from and feared the Bush Administration, why wouldn't he reach out Pelosi or Reid or Shumer? There are plenty of Democrats who love to " help " him out while making his situation very public and therefore making it much harder for the so-called bad guys to touch him.

Come on, while this makes for great conspiracy talk for the lefties, it, like most conspiracies makes no logical sense.

I agree.

I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, no matter how inane of humanity or decency the person possess. Unless the smoking gun is found, I am going to think that is was Connell's paranoia that caused his demise.

Sabotage or not, the man deserved it. When you mess with George W. Bush, the republican Jesus, or any of his apostles like that saint of a man Mr. Rove, you should be killed on the spot.

Because you make the incorrect assumption that Democrats and Republicans are on different sides, when in reality, they're on the same side, lined up against the American people.

People know that drinking can cause liver damage (or waking up next to an ugly chick the next morning) but people still do it. There's some fairly conclusive evidence that smoking causes cancer, but people still do it. Nobody ever really believes that they're gonna die. as a species, that's probably one of our greatest survival stratagies....but occasionally it does get us killed.

Weaver95: Cog: LOL - truthers should be institutionalized.

you have to admit that the timing of the accident is rather interesting. Plus, if it's true that the guy requested federal witness protection, gets turned down and later turns up dead....well, that's even more interesting.

i'm not saying Cheney or Rove orded the guy killed....but this is the crew that believes in torturing 'suspected terrorists' for fun and profit.

After some of the things Nixon was up to have come out, none of this is that crazy to assume. Nixon and Chuck Colson were discussing blowing up the Brookings Institute. Someone in the GOP or the WH offing the IT guy who knew everything doesn't seem real far fetched.

I just hope this guy shared everything he knows with someone or documented it before he died.

2008-12-21 03:29:02 PM
OK, as someone with more than just a passing interest in aviation, and just a few years experience in maintenance and operations, I would love to know what the two purported "suspicious problems" were. It has also been established that there were icing conditions the night of the crash. I think some people need to unscrew the helmets just a bit and let some air and light in.

2008-12-21 03:29:58 PM
libbynomore2: I don't know about you, but I advocate the presumption of innocence until guilt if proven.

Absolutely. There's a large possibility that it was an unfortunate accident, and nothing more. But there is enough there to justify a full scale investigation into the crash.

Come on, while this makes for great conspiracy talk for the lefties, it, like most conspiracies makes no logical sense.

Not everyone who doubts the "given truth" is a lefty. I certainly am not. I lean toward conservative/libertarian, with a few liberal views as well.
But what you are implying is that the people at the top do not conspire, and THAT makes no logical sense.

adamgreeney: I'm certainly not prone to joining the Truther crowd, but if the guy asks for federal protection and abandons a number of flights prior to this out of fear. . . Well, that is way too much coincidence for me to overlook.

That's because this IT guru was obviously a truther himself. Don't you see? He wasn't scared because of any info he actually had against Rove from his past 8 years of experience. He was only scared because he was a paranoid truther who read a lot of internets.

THIS.

Putting aside the factoid that the article author uses "the elections were stolen" to "prove" this an "assassination", and the "assassination" to "prove" "the elections were stolen"........
//And why stop at only two elections?.........

Annnnd putting aside the entire issue of using unsourced and unidentified "friends of a friend of" as your starting point, instead of the actual guy........

What kind of idiot (supposedly) keeps flying small planes as transport if he (supposedly) believes that (supposedly) at least two prior flights had to be canceled when he (supposedly) found (supposed) sabotage?
