Don't be silly, democrats can only make bad things happen to the economy. This is all because of Bush or Palin or something.

Given the content of his "infrastructure" proposal at the weekend, I would think people would be nervous. I was stunned by its superficiality. Very disappointing. One would think that anyone thinking about reparing and upgrading the nation's infrastructure would have given the matter more thought than Obama evidently gave it.

Stocks don't make any sense right now. They go up when they should go down and go down when they should go up. It's investors buying after a large decline and selling the next day causing a rally.

Tomorrow they'll sell off for the profits they made today.

None of this is good news right now.

Well, that's better than when I fart.

When I fart, two out of ten times it's actually a shiat.

This is not really f*cking voodoo magic here. Obama announced that there'd be a huge stimulus package and news came out of an auto bailout compromise. The market responded.

And it's like Xmas if you're a day trader. Don't get me wrong - I'm just in the stock market because I'm too lazy to drive all the way to the casino. I'm about as qualified to invest as I am to operate the space shuttle. But I just dumped a ton of Seagate stock which went up 10% TODAY. Hopefully we will have a massive crash tomorrow and I can buy it back.

God, this is so much more fun than blackjack...

Sure, it's never too early to start blaming the president for the shiatty economy/giving him credit he doesn't deserve for good economic news. Apparently, we can now start doing it before he's actually the president. Awesome.

This whole Obama-worship thing will all come screeching to a halt when:

- The economy recovers
- We capture Bin Laden
- We find out his true citizenship

- We find out he uses a Zune instead of an iPod

Our infrastructure is slowly collapsing and we're experiencing economic problems not seen since the 70s (if not the 30s), what do you propose to do about it?

Exactly. It's all speculative right now. It's been weird how all the major stock exchanges seem to have gone up and down in tandem the past month.

I think many of you forget the impact that Clinton had on the economy as he took office. He simply said "You know, I feel your pain. The economy is in recession and times are tough, but together we are going to change all that."

You know what happened? Market psychology happened.

EVERYONE worth half their salt in the financial sector knows damn well that Republican economies are bear economies. Reagan, Bush Sr., and Bush Jr. All Clinton had to do was say that he was going to unfark the economy and it just started to happen. Market psychology is the leading factor toward recovery, followed by not having a republican in office.

Hows that for an economic analysis? Eh, fark off.
