At first I thought I wanted video until I realized the video in my head is way better than anything that really could have happened. Plus the video in my head has Yakety Sax.

Runaway Box has a great Nerf office war video ... so I pretty much assume this went down the same way.

I hate it when the media puts out these soft news stories.

Gee, thanks, Foaming, Now I have Yakety Sax stuck in my head!!

Better go listen to some Death Metal so I can clear that out.

Basically, this is what the executives had to say to the workers. (I know, its not nerf, but the heart is in the right place.)

I don't know what it is, but this is the headline of the year for me. I'm dining in an upscale steak house and my girlfriend and I laughed for about an minute (on Blackberry),

Concise and classic.

Screw Nerf. Kids should be playing with real footballs and basketballs.

Want something soft for kids? Use a garbage can for a hoop, and a paperwad as a ball..

Or just go the fark outside.

+1 Subby, I actually laughed out loud (and scared a fellow employee).

However, I am concerned as to how this riot will affect my ability to get ammo for this:

The post that said the video in his/her head would be better is right. I had a visit to a playground equipment factory a couple years ago. I had visions of an "Oompa Loompa" type place where parts were moved around with giant spiral slides and swings and employees crossed on monkey bars. Instead it was just a bunch of angry non-union assembly workers half doped up from breathing astic fumes all day.

That's right, when it's 10 degrees outside I'm going to tell my four-year-old son to put on his coat 'cause we're going outside to play catch, and were not going to go all pansy with the Nerf, no sir, I'm going to throw a frozen leather football at his face for him to catch!

Are you old or just stupid, or both?

see? now this one is Tshirt worthy.

Ever play football in a river or a pool with a nerf football? Getting hit in the head with a water soaked nerf will damn near knock you out. And you're in water.

What is with the nerf haters in this thread? Nerf makes good toys that are fun for both kids and adults.

They should make more things out of nerf... roads, cars and trucks, boats, rocketships, bridges, hamburger stands... the possibilities are limitless.

I don't see the point of needing Nerf to play inside.
Hell, at 4-years-old, all you need is a goddamn imagination.

I can't believe thousands of Chinese people are working in a factory making useless shiat like Nerf.

But if you have to...play with a tennis ball. It'll last longer than Nerf crap.

/Or go to the sink, find a dishwashing sponge, and play with that.

Oh, and by the time kids get to the 8-10 years old age, kids should know how to do a farking pushup. Nerf is a waste of farking time as "exercise." Running in place is more productive. Or jumping farking rope.

For whom? The people tossing crap at you when you're sitting at your cubicle do absolutely nothing? Granted they aren't doing anything, but....you're.......asleep.
